Amazing sandwiches!

I got the Hot Mess and it was delicious. Braised beef with mushrooms and peppercorns (they softened during the braising so they just give a little heat and smokiness).

Brother in laws split the philly cheese steak, which they described as amazing.

Morro Bay Butcher is not just a hight quality meat provider, is a family owned local business and provide some of the best quality products + the deli!!!
I get some special cuts directly from the butcher, you can call ahead and they will have ready for pick up later.

Big fun of their skirt steak, mushrooms soup, Picaña, and ribeye!!!!

I got a Hot Mess sandwich and requested to add tomato slices, and they refused to add the tomato slices because of their “specific flavor profiles”. My sandwich was dry and lacking in flavor, and I wasted half of the sandwich because it wasn’t very good. I don’t understand why I couldn’t request and pay for something that I want from a sandwich. Get it together with your customer service, know-it-all sandwich nazis.

You need to try these sandwiches! I've been there before to get their high quality meat. I've been keeping an eye out for the reopening after the storms that passed through and had to order two sandwiches for a little variety. I ordered the Hot Mess and the Cuban and both were the best sandwiches in Morro Bay and some of the best sandwiches I've ever had! There is love in these sandwiches and it will come through with every bite. The Cuban was my favorite, I will be back very soon.

Best quality meat you can get in this entire area, including restaurants and groceries. We regret it every time we buy steaks somewhere else (although usually it's only bcs we have to schlep to SLO anyway). This is also significantly more reasonably priced than Whole Foods and other "high end." They have good prepared food like sandwiches, sides, a small duck pot pie, lasagna sometimes. Not to be missed, and convenient location!

Fantastic deli and butcher! We picked up a delicious baguette, cheeses and several of their fantastic tomato-cheese tarts and homemade sausage roll. Wow! On both the pastry was light and buttery and the sausage beautifully spiced!! Small but excellent selection of salamis. We picked up the finnochiona which was superb!!

The meats in the meat case looked incredible and if we lived here we would shop here. You are lucky Morro Bay to have this at your fingertips!!!

I wanted to absolutely love this place, but if I’m being honest it really disappointed me. 11 dollars plus tip for a grilled cheese and it did taste good, but I was expecting it to be a lot bigger. Maybe the other sandwiches are bigger- I just can’t recommend the Brie grilled cheese based on it being small and mediocre. The place however was very clean and the workers super nice. I honestly would not go back though sadly.

Awesome little butcher shop and deli in Morro Bay. Parking is ample and the shop is just two blocks walk to the waterfront. The sandwiches are excellent and I would highly recommend the grilled cheese options! You can pick up all of your ingredients for a charcuterie board too - which we did just prior to our camping trip. It was a nice little treat for after camp setup.
