Guard shack nice but 6 am appointment just got backed into the door it’s 922 am was told to keep doors closed till someone comes out I arrived at 530 am there was 4 trucks already in line wouldn’t let anyone in till 6 am could be better next load canceled

Checked in at 4:45am for 5am appt. Unloaded by 6am..lumper fee pricy at $215.00. Docking tight because McLane trucks parked across from docks, but doable. No Parking for Overnight.waiting for paperwork takes FOREVER!!!! Now a McLane Facilitywould have given 4 stars if it weren't having to wait so long for paperwork

Exit Ramp has 4-5 truck PARKING,Their is a no parking sign but no problems, building is 30 seconds from exit, no overnight parking.

The one star is for the lumper, he unloaded for me very quickly within minutes of arriving. After reading previous reviews didn’t want to come too early and the parking is few and tight but doable. Appointment at 05:00 I arrive at 04:45. Got into a door by 04:55 and was unloaded and paid for the lumper by 05:30 but did not get a call for my bills until 09:00. They need a better system.

I got here at 0640 for a 0700 appointment. I was called for my bills at 0748.

I got there, checked in with the guard who gave me my door and I was told to back up with my doors closed and they’d come tell me when to open them. I’m not sure why everyone complains about that like it’s unique to this facility. I’ve had that happen before. It’s because they are checking the temperature on your reefer. Once you open those doors it’s not accurate. And this isn’t a big facility. They’ve got maybe 20 docks, so you sitting pulled forward doesn’t work.

They came out and checked the temp and got my bills and I was told to open the doors and back up. Yes it’s capstone and yes they use the all digital payment now. It’s been my experience over the last year that capstone has gotten a lot better. I still get those facilities that are horrible, but I’ve not had a lot of problems with them. Other then them charging a restack fee on every single trailer I ever give them. My company pays the lumper, so I guess it is what it is.

I got the text, paid the fee, and not long after I was called to pull out of the door and come inside to grab my bills. A quick signature and I was done.

The only “issue” with the facility is that it’s a little tight. Nothing unmanageable, but if you are expecting to come in here and do a 45 degree set-up you’re going be disappointed. If you’ve got any amount of backing experience outside of massive warehouses, then you should be fine. The Mclane trucks can make it tricky if you get a dock near them, but it’s still doable.

Most backwards operations I've encountered yet. They set up 04:00 appointments, but turn you away if your more than a few minutes early. Put you in a door just to have you move to a different door a few minutes later. Have you back into a door just to pull up and open your doors a few minutes later. And then want to charge the trucking company a lumper fee, instead of the customer whose paying to have their products warehoused here. It really seems like no one has taken the time to see how they can simplify the process.

Got here 30 minutes prior to my appointment, got right in and unloaded...they do give their driver's priority over outside drivers...but that is to be expected...was in and out within an hour! Lady at the gate was courteous, and with all the trucks backed up, and coming in and out, she kept things flowing good! This was around 5 - 6 am! You know, if you dress like a Trucker...and conduct yourself as a professional driver...you would get in and out as quickly as I did! Just saying!
