I worked with Alex and Rachael at AMI to create my fabulous new modern stair railings replacing my traditional black railings with scrolls. I love them. Alex paid attention to every detail in the design and Rachael is very responsive to inquiries. It took about 2 weeks after the measurement appointment to have my new railings installed. I had them remove the old ones during the measurement appointment so that we could patch and paint the walls before the new ones were installed.

AMI refinished a vintage cast iron grapevine loveseat & chair that had rusted. Both pieces look absolutely brand new at the front entrance to my home. The white powder coat finish sparkles and shines and the pieces will probably last longer than I will!
Not cheap but worth it, and they worked with me on my neighbor's ability to drop them off & pick them up.

After a good start with AMI, my project ended in frustration. I paid for three aluminum molds to replace a unique forged railing design from 1994 that made our house special. AMI sold our unique design to our next door neighbor shortly after ours was installed. The key feature of our house is no longer unique 🙁

The Gate that American Master Ironworks fabricated and installed at my home lasted about 2 months. The weld at the strike plate broke. I've called them about 15 times to get someone out her to repair it. The one time that someone actually answered the phone, I was told that my gate was under warranty and they would make arrangements to get it fixed. That was about a month ago. Since then, no one has answered the phone or returned my messages. I'm at my wits end. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and will have it repaired by someone else and file a claim in small claims court.
