I recently hired Bowey's to install a matte black powder-coated interior railing. Unfortunately, the finish quality is significantly below expectations. The railing is rough to the touch, with a noticeable orange peel effect throughout. Additionally, the installation process left my home covered in welding debris, requiring additional cleaning efforts. According to his understanding, cleaning his worksite is not his responsibility but he did clean it after I asked. He then stated that if i should sand and repair my own railing and left me a bottle of black paint.

Due to these issues, I am extremely dissatisfied with the completed work and regret my decision to hire Bowey's. I have already sent a notice to the company expressing my intent to pursue legal action if we cannot resolve this matter within 30 days.

Use at your own discretion. The far away pictures look great but at close all the imperfections become clear.

We had Jacob do new railings in our home. He did the stairs, catwalk and above the living room. Everything turned out great. He was fairly priced and so easy to work with. Would highly recommend him.

While the overall look of the metal railing is acceptable, the installation itself leaves much to be desired. A month in, the flaws are still glaring and irritating. It's disheartening to see such a mediocre job. I'm starting to regret not opting for cable railing instead.
