Just received the seal for the hi mount brake light on my 2019 Ram Laramie. Not only did I get a kick out of their description on how to replace the seal and the zero tips on the PIA factory seal removal process; but I appreciated the catalog and unexpected bag of Geno’s Popcorn.

Now, what worked for me was an Exacto blade, plastic scraper, Q-Tips, rubbing alcohol and a few paper towels. Took about 40 minutes to remove and clean the residual sticky off the light assembly. I cut away the original seal using the blade as close to plastic as I could. Then I used Q-Tips dipping in alcohol and plastic scraping tool remove the residual adhesive and foam. Then a paper towel again in alcohol, wiping the surface free and clean of any left over debris. Then I used a water damp paper towel to wipe away the alcohol and dried the light assembly. Then applied the new seal using Geno’s instructions, voila.

This is a great company with excellent customer service. I'm up in Canada and received a fuel module that was cracked during shipping. I’m a new customer always looked into buying from Geno’s garage and what do you know my throttle cable cut and I needed a new one so I order one as I need my truck for work. I next day shipped it and the part looks great until I get it installed and the abs plastic grommet piece breaks. Of course I’m gonna email and call in to see what they can do about it I paid for it. And that’s where I’m heated… I call in and explained what happened but JC at Geno’s laughs at me like you think this is a joke… not cool man I use this truck to provide from my family and you just insult me by laughing about it Saying it’s a factory part I haven’t known them to fail. Well guess what I’ve been in machining and manufacturing/ plastic injection molding for over 12 years and I’ve seen simple pieces like this fail. Does it happen all the time maybe not but it does especially plastics. So long ass story short not impressed with my first experience with “JC”at Geno’s. Not saying the other staff and products are bad just JC’s customer service.
