Silver Creek Iron works was suggested to me for adding railing to the front of the house. Their pricing was comparable to the others I checked and their price was good. I honestly didn't have any special requests about what kind of railing I wanted, I just didn't want people falling off an older but very tall porch.

These guys did an amazing job. Oscar is very personable and has great taste. The end results look way better than I could have imagined. They were great about communicating with me through text and email. The install was great as well. I couldn't recommend them more. It was a great overall experience.

A year ago, I had Silver Creek install an iron railing on my front stairway in Decatur. The house is 110 years old and always has challenges with any sort of upgrade. In this case, the concrete was very old, and defied standard methods for stabilizing a railing (and a railing was sorely needed). I was impressed with how professionally and efficiently Silver Creek did the job. The price was quite reasonable. A year later, the railing is still rock solid. I highly recommend Silver Creek.

Working with Oscar and Silver Creek Iron Works was an excellent experience. I reached out looking for fabrication and installation of a Juliet balcony, and Oscar responded quickly and came out to my home the next day to measure and provide a quote.

The pricing was fair, and Oscar went above and beyond to deliver on a tight timeline during the holidays. He and his crew were communicative and very friendly, and the Juliet balcony is exactly what I had in mind. I also loved the convenience of online billing and the informative website. As my friends and I age, it became obvious that we needed a railing on the front porch. Although it is only one step it can be tricky. I called Silver Creek and asked for an estimate. I was visited the next day right on time and we discussed what I might prefer. I wanted something simple and sturdy. I gave the "go ahead" and Oscar left with the measurements. About two weeks later Oscar called and said that the job was ready to install.
It is exactly what I wanted. I could not be more pleased. About two hours later Oscar came to inspect the work and see if I approved. I did.

We had front step railings and a matching mailbox post made, and they are just beautiful! They were installed before the estimated date, too, a great bonus. Installers were very exacting in their work and very polite. Recommend Silver Creek unreservedly!
