I cannot say enough great things about this place. Before I move on to their excellent review, a bit about my order. I needed seven 4 x 4 posts, 60' of railing, and associated deck hardware powder coated. I am located in Columbus, which means the only in town powder coating is done by Powder Coating of Columbus (PCC). To give an idea about price difference, PPC charged $500 less than PCC, an astounding difference for the same exact job. Additionally, the quote given to me by PPC ended up being the same price I paid at the conclusion of the work done, which is always a great feeling,.

Now onto the experience itself. While Google Maps did a poor job of bringing me to the exact location, I was able to figure out that the building where workers were welding was the same as that of the powder coating shop. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an enthusiastic worker who identified himself as Keegan (or Teegan; hard to tell the difference with how close they sound). While he could have very easily simply taken the materials I brought, instead he spent time trying to understand what the end result needed to be in order to make sure that my expectations were going to be met at the end of the job. I can say with absolute certain that this extra step saved me a lot of time and money spent, as the holes I drilled were close to exact but powder coating adds a relatively considerable amount of thickness.

They allowed me to store the materials I did not need to alter and bring the rest back the next day, which was very convenient. As for color selection, they had almost every color powder under the sun. This was perfect as I needed a flat black, which is not necessarily a common sheen. Before starting on the work, they said that they aimed for a week turn-around time but that it could be possibly longer. Three days after dropping off the materials, I received a call that everything was ready.

Upon arrival, I checked the hardware for the holes. Guess what? Exact match, which would have not been the case if they had not spent extra time to ensure I was getting what I needed. Furthermore, they wrapped everything that would be resting on the tail gate of my truck to ensure that I transported everything in perfect condition back to my house. This is above and beyond service in my opinion, especially for the excellent price they did everything for.

From start to finish, this company excelled on every front. Everything came out perfectly, the cost was just right, and the staff, including the owner, were friendly, knowledgable, and a pleasure to do business with. Although I don't do much business with powder coating, I can guarantee I will be returning to Pure Powder Coatings.
