Great front desk staff! Very efficient and kind. The nurse seemed hurried and rushed. Not necessarily the friendliest and perhaps she had too much on her mind and it showed. She seemed incredibly frustrated. The nurse practitioner was resourceful yet superficial and can appear condescending and a tad arrogant. I wouldn't say she would be known for her pleasantries nor her bedside manner but we all do have our different personalities. In the future I plan on meeting with my actual doctor and make the trip to Gainesville especially after the quip "now get out of my office". (the appointment lasted less than ten minutes) Whether stated in jest or not, it was totally uncalled for and professionally unacceptable. What's wrong with "have a nice day" or "I'm glad you are making progress"? Sometimes folks tend to forget, who's paying whom. If you are looking for professional, compassionate care, go elsewhere.

As I see with other posts if you self pay you get lied to. I too was told $100 consult later getting additional bill for 98.92.Bill states
362.00 previous charges, minus 100 psa payment,minus 85.25 self pay discount, minus 77.83 prompt pay discount. Consult was 5 minutes where i was told I had to have colonoscopy before hemorrhoid banding. immediately shuffled to back room for a $700 deposit on an open ended cost of 1400 to over 4000 on procedure I did not want. Had waited 30 days for this consult. Reluctantly paid but on way home had second thoughts. Called Hemorrhoid Centers of America in Cumming. Appointment 4 days later.Immediately cancelled colonoscopy at GA Associates.My appointment at HCA was $830 including office exam and first banding procedure. subsequent banding $500. GA Associates is an insurance bill mill BEWARE

Friendly front desk staff, doctor was kind and attentive to everything, however it’s been two weeks I’ve been trying to get my medication approved have called my insurance and they are STILL waiting for the doctor to send back the paperwork, I was told it would be resolved in days but haven’t heard anything, if you are in pain and need relief fast, I’d choose another doctors office

Everything and everyone was very nice, except for the girl, that checked me out, and had me sign my release forms. She barely spoke to me at all. Her mask was not covering her nose, at all. Eventually, it slipped down and wasn’t even covering all of her mouth. I would think someone working in a medical setting would be more conscientious about that. There are several signs saying masks are to be worn by everyone. I think her name was Mary.

They are very proficient on their appointment time and with getting you in and out . They are eager to answer any questions you have and explain what procedure will take place. Also, if you have any questions after you leave they provide a number to call and someone will be able to answer your question. The staff is very polite and curtious and caring .
All in all a great group.

This is one of the best Doctor's offices I have ever been too! I wish it was a primary care provider. They made me feel very welcome and even respected me.
