David custom built cabinets for my new house in Demorest, GA and they are the nicest, most well-made, solid cabinets I have ever seen. He helped me make decisions and was super professional and thoughtful with his designs and ideas to make sure that everything was perfect and would last a lifetime. I was about to use a business who claimed they were going to “build” my “custom” cabinets and when I went by their shop I found that their “custom” cabinets arrived in boxes from China. I went by David’s shop many times and saw him cutting the wood and constructing them with his own hands. I was very pleased with everything and would highly recommend. The cabinets in my previous home were also custom built by someone else and were nowhere close to this quality. Best decision I’ve ever made and the cabinets are my favorite part of my house.

David has made cabinets for two of our kitchens, and the fact that we used him again is proof positive that he does an excellent job. We have a historic house in Greenville and a contemporary new build in western NC. He accommodated the two different styles and came up with designs that fit based on photos I had. We wanted high-end quality and craftsmanship for a fair price, and that's what we got l... Twice. He's very easy to work with and communicates well. I had another subcontractor that was sloppy, and David fixed his mistakes! He kept his word on delivery times and ensured that the project would not be delayed because of him. He also quickly helped with appliance installation even though he had to drive an hour last minute to make it all happen. Four years later for our Greenville kitchen and 2 years later for NC, and I am still so happy with both places.

He also made a hall tree for my entryway that I get compliments on all the time.

Over the 20 years since we moved into our newly built home, we've been annoyed by one kitchen drawer that never opened and closed properly, and the problem has gotten worse over time. It finally became so troublesome that I decided to see if I could fix it. It didn't take long to realize that the job was beyond my skill level -- we needed an expert! I was doubtful that we could find anyone who would come out to the house anytime soon for such a minor job, but we decided to give it a try. Our first and only call was to Southern Classic Furniture and Cabinet. Much to our surprise and delight, the owner himself took my call and said he would come right out. He arrived shortly, knew exactly how to fix the drawer, and got the job done at a most reasonable cost. In the future, whenever we need cabinets made, installed, or repaired, we'll be calling Southern Classic Furniture and Cabinet.
