Always a treat seeing Bob Miller and the staff at YM. Their national award winning wines are always top notch and certainly the best east of the Mississippi. The Totem and Genesis series are always exemplary and their port style, Steamboat, is one of our favorites outside of Portugal. We have visited over 200 vineyards around the world and this one ranks in our top 10 for wine quality, which should always be first and foremost, locale, ownership/staff, and amenities. One of only 4 wine clubs we are part of. They have everything from $30 - $200+ and all are worth it, trust us.

I went on a Saturday and from start to finish , we had a great experience.We did the exclusive wine tour. The owners are a beautiful family and were amazing. They each had a role in guiding the tour. Very down to earth, funny, and entertaining. The property is breathtaking. Oh and the wine was AWESOME! we bought a few bottles to enjoy at home and I'll be ordering more.

This is one of the nicer wineries and vineyards I have visited. One note is when you see the main buildings coming into views, your at the backside of the building and have to drive to the right all the way around to the gravel parking lot and enter there by the concrete paved walkway. For handicapped and electric cars stay to the left. We tried the sweet wine flights with four tastes each and was pleasantly surprised. We bought two bottles and were given complementary wine glasses to take home.

The wine was good, but I liked the wine at other wineries in the area more. Beautiful scenery. The owner was there walking around to tables talking. He passed by our table without stopping. We even said hello and tried to start a conversation when he made another round. We were wearing polo and t-shirt with jeans. Maybe we were not dressed up enough? Weird. Anyway, nice atmosphere with inside and outside seating and music outside. Would be nice to be able to choose the wines in the flight. This was the first winery I've been to where you were not able to choose them. Loved that we got a souvineer glass with purchase of flight, but at another winery in the area, flight + glass is $10 cheaper. But, this winery spends money on their building, music, etc. to give a nicer experience.
