I bought a set of snowflakes a 1 1/2 to 2 yrs ago for my 10th anniversary trans am. Car has been in my garage and only comes out for upgrades and a bath. The rims started to get these lines that look like scratches in side the aluminum finish. You can't feel 90% of them. One wheel totally wasted and the others are starting to do the same. I only ever washed with soap and water. The rims on my c10 has been sitting for twice as long and never been washed and still looks great.

I’ve been a loyal customer of YearOne for years, but my recent experience has left me incredibly disappointed and frustrated. I ordered tail light bezels as part of a restoration project for my car, which I’ve been working on for the past 20 years. The parts arrived with poor fit and finish, not matching the quality I’ve come to expect from YearOne. After sending pictures to customer service, I didn’t hear back for some time, so I decided to call on May 30, 2024, to follow up.

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. I spoke to a customer service representative who was not only unhelpful but also rude and dismissive. This person didn't introduce themselves, abruptly hung up on me, and refused to listen to my concerns. When I explained that the parts had been stored in pristine condition in a heated garage, awaiting installation after my car returned from the body shop earlier this year, I was told that nothing could be done because the "warranty period had passed." This was despite the fact that the parts were never used and were still in their original packaging.

I understand that I ordered these parts in 2021, but given my unique situation—having waited years to restore my car and finally being able to start installing parts—there should be some flexibility to accommodate customers in situations like mine. Instead, I was met with arrogance and a lack of understanding.

I did have a positive interaction with another representative early on (Case #FL2623), who was professional and kind. However, my experience with the second representative was completely the opposite and left me feeling insulted and disrespected.

As a Canadian veteran who served in Vietnam, I had hoped for a more empathetic and customer-friendly approach from a company I’ve trusted for so long. It’s disappointing to be treated this way, especially after spending thousands of dollars with YearOne over the years.

I sincerely hope that YearOne reconsiders its approach to customer service and resolves situations like mine with more care and understanding.

I ordered a quarter panel, it had rust on it and a section cut out. The part I really needed. Every edge was smooth except the corner I needed. It was rugged like it was cut with a cutting wheel. I was offered a partial refund and I responded back to accept it. But 2 days later and no response nor money back in my account

Have been searching for a fender patch for weeks and it turned out that Year One had the part. I honestly think I purchased one of the last in the country.

At the time of this review, Year One has moved locations and is in the process of resetting.

All of the individuals I spoke to on the phone were very friendly and they helped me organize a pick up time for the part. I was an hour late and I believe it was Kevin who opened the door and found my part.

Very appreciative of the business, I will definitely do business with them again as I need.

I've been on hold 40 minutes and after reading other reviews of poor customer service going back several years (can't blame that on COVID) I'm hanging up. I own a professional automotive restoration shop and had planned to order thousands of dollars in parts today alone. I do not appreciate having my time wasted. There are plenty of other suppliers out there.

A week after I ordered, they refunded my money to my card without giving an explanation. When I was finally able to reach someone to ask why, I was told they are out of stock. But their website shows they have three of these. Their hours are terrible too for a retail operation, 9 to 5, M-F. Overall unacceptable.
