I am without my garage full of tools and bits, so fixing something in the Sprinter van was a challenge on the road. So when I stopped in here and found a huge selection of tools and bits, I knew I was in a good place. I didn't find an inexpensive electric screwdriver but I did find the angle brackets and screws I need to lock down the table in the van. Great selection and prices were good.

The man working the counter was friendly and helpful, pointing me to what I needed and then ringing up the sale. I'm glad I had the opportunity to skip the Big Box and #ShopLocal!

This place is so overpriced for small things. I’ve been in and purchased single items that I’d forgotten to get while in town at the big box store. I feel so overcharged each time. I Almost bought a can of bee spray for $9.50 after tax. I can have a case delivered to my house next day for $2 dollars more. My case of wasp spray will arrive from Amazon tomorrow. So much for shopping local.

I live here on 115 and would love to be able to shop here but they are overpriced (almost double lowes prices)on most everything and they close at 5 even on Saturday and Sundays. I work full time and do my projects in the mid afternoon and evening.
So disappointing.

Some of the worst management I've ever seen! None of them know how to run a store, much less a hardware store. The district manager is a joke.

I’ve lived in Habersham my whole life. I watched my dad always support our local hardware store because it’s been THE go to for support small and friendly, helpful service.
As an adult with my own house, My husband and I wanted to do the same — but not anymore. The last 5 visits we have made proved to be four visits too many!
No longer is the store the small town hardware store I remember. There’s nothing friendly about the employees and they’re anything but helpful. I would attribute this to the lack of communication or mention the price jumps could coordinate with a ‘competitive’ price scale, but that would be a joke. The employees simply give the feeling and have manners to reflect one thing: they just do not want to be there or want to help. And yeah — $7-$10 differences are ridiculous.

I found the Ace Hardware in Cornelia is where my money should be spent — it may have a corporate name but it is a small town hardware — with friendly and helpful employees that are very wise and helpful in every way they can be. Faces I recognize and the folks that have lived here most of their lives, too! So I’m still shopping local 🧡

I will not return to Habersham Hardware again.

The rudest staff I have ever dealt with. I’ve tried to give them my business 4 times and each time they’ve been incredibly rude. I will drive to Cornelia and go to Lowe’s from now on.

Second time in. There will not be a third. The elderly gentleman in front of me had a simple question about some special cut panes of glass. He only needed to know who to speak with. The cashier was an absolute witch to the poor man. And then it was my turn. I asked for 2 bags of concrete and 10 bales of hay. She looked right at me and give the biggest full-body sigh I think I’ve ever seen. Begrudgingly, she rang me up, took my money, refused to help me figure out how to use their credit card machine, and handed me a receipt. I had the audacity to ask where I needed to go to pick up the items I just bought, and she just pointed to the side of the building and said ‘that way’. Yep, I’ll just go back to the big box store and use the trusty self checkout from now on.

I really want to support local businesses but this place makes it hard. I live about 3 miles away from this store so much more convenient than Lowe’s. I recently purchased a new home so I am always in need of things for my home projects. Most times I know what I want, go in get it and out.
However, anytime I need some advice or help finding an item, the customer service is horrible. I am told go to this section, get there and the person tells me to go another section. Or they just say they don’t know and walk off.
Of the numerous times I have been in the store, there was only one time that I felt that customer service was on point. And the lady at checkout, rude is a nice word for her.

Please, work on the customer service and your business will thrive. Hated to drive to Lowe’s to get items last week.
