Absolutely awesome studios on acres of sprawling green space in East Point, Georgia (I think). Amazing that a self made man could take this from a concept/dream to reality. Very inspiring. Salute to Tyler Perry. Respect!

I had the absolute honor of visiting the grounds of Tyler Perry Studios, and the experience was nothing short of inspiring. While this is a fully operational film studio with tight security, just standing outside those massive gates, seeing the sign that reads “Tyler Perry Studios,” felt monumental. The studio is incredibly close to the Atlanta airport—less than a five-minute drive—so if you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend taking the detour to witness history and greatness firsthand.

Walking the grounds with my 70-year-old father was especially moving. The profound significance of the location hit me—this land, once a site of oppression, is now owned by a Black man, a testament to God’s power and how far we’ve come. It’s a reminder that no matter what happened in the past, our futures can take a completely different direction if we dare to dream.

Everywhere I looked, I saw Tyler Perry’s name, a man who came from brokenness and is now a beacon of hope and empowerment for people of all walks of life—Black, white, Asian, LGBTQ+, old, young, single, or married. His work carries a powerful message: You don’t have to remain stuck where you are—you can become something greater.

I’m beyond grateful for the vision behind this massive studio, for the city of Atlanta that helped inspire it, and for Tyler Perry himself, a man who never gave up. Just being on the grounds, even without stepping inside, was enough to check off one of my top life goals. And now, my next goal is to attend one of his red carpet events—not to be in the movie, but just to witness the continued impact and legacy of his work.

When you drive over 14 hours to visit family in Atlanta, a stop by Tyler Perry Studios is a must. I looked for tours, I found one that was over $200 per person. The tour is slated 1 to 2 times per month. We settled on congregating outside of the main gate, meeting with other Tyler Perry fans.

Uncle Tyler, can you create a reasonable price tour. WE will love to celebrate Black Excellence and your accomplishments with YOU - with LOVE and BLESSINGS Nephew Charlie Wilson Jr.

We went to all the way to entrance but in main gate it says entry is prohibited. Not sure we can go all the way near to that LED screen. Just wanted to obey the law and respect their privacy just took some picture from main gate and came back. I know him from the BOO movie when searching that person only I came to know this actor. What he did that 330 acres studio is awesome. Hope one day i get to see that studio tour and his home tour too. He is inspiring..

I’m visiting from out of state and was really looking forward to taking pictures outside the main entrance, by the fountain and big screen at #TylerPerryStudios. However, security stopped me at the entrance and rudely told me I couldn't get out to take pictures, nor was I allowed to snap a photo from my car. They said photos are only permitted on weekends, but there were no signs indicating this restriction. I’m genuinely disappointed and saddened by the experience.

The staff was very professional and personable. The lot, not surprisingly because it's an old Army base, is enormous! The Oval building is beautiful! That lot is quarantined off but we could see it from where we were. Good is a wonder and he is using Tyler Perry to bless Atlanta. The Family Feud staff is amazing, a well oiled machine with heart!
