Auctioneer is too fast and unclear. Many many times by the time we figure out where the bid is, it is over, or we try to make a bid and the auctioneer misses our attempt. Sometimes he never looks past the big money buyers given the prime seats in the front row.
This hurts the sellers. If I am selling 100 head, a few more cents per pound adds up to a lot of $. He should at least scan the rest of the crowd before closing the bid. Buyers wanting to just buy 1 or 2 many times leave unhappy, as when they bring groups of cows through at one time, they don't offer the option to buy only part of the group. This is pushing small farmers out, leaving big buyers to set the price, normally below what they could have been sold for.
Until this gets better, my stock will be sold at the auction in Dothan, AL.

I actually did enjoy sitting there at the sale until my 2 Guernsey steers came in the ring then they made me in to a joke I have 3 more l wonder will y'all make a joke again
