I was traveling through Tybee Island for a weekend event at Jekyl Isle last week with my “79/13’ Scamp camper in tow. Following one too many speed bumps the front tongue cracked and bent leaving the front of the camper a half inch off the ground. I imagined all my weekend plans to be canceled, the camper was toast and I might be stranded. When I contacted Savannah metalworks with a couple pictures they said they could fix it on location. I was elated! Joe and Mike arrived with their mobile welding equipment within about an hour and welded the front tongue better than it was before this happened. I was so grateful that these two nice men were available, prompt, and did such nice work on such short notice. And all things considering, for a reasonable price. I was on my way in a short time and only a few hours late for my weekend event. Thank you so much for your professional help and friendly service. The final photograph is my camper decorated for Halloween at the Sisters on the Fly gathering.
I am so grateful that you all were available and did such good work!

I called Savannah MetalWorks for them to make a pair of single post wrought iron railings. My husband is disabled and cannot safely get into our house through the front door. I had a wooden step platform made but needed something for him to use to assist in getting up and down the steps.
I sent Mike pictures of the steps and existing railings and he ran with it! Mike was able to get the job done quickly and improved the sturdiness of the steps.
My husband can now safely and more easily get into our house and I don't have to worry about selling the house.
They were reasonable, prompt, courteous and helpful. They take pride in their product.
I would recommend Savannah MetalWorks to anyone.
Thank you, Savannah MetalWorks

Very, Very good service. My partner was towing an older camper that she loves through Savannah and had the frame between the tongue and the body of the trailer bend and the camper start to drag the ground. I called from out of state and these very nice people who answered their phone, loaded their truck, and went right out. Within an hour they had done the repair the same as I would have at my shop. The charge was very reasonable.

They truly value their customers. I was able to get a custom job completed in one day. Mike was kind enough to pick up and drop off our metal pieces. Economically priced! They will get all our metal work in the future.

Mike and Joe were very professional and did a very high quality repair on a large cast iron horse. They also were very good to establish a work date and they called several times to confirmed the schedule. This is appreciated and makes them a well run business. Thank you

Superb job by Mike and Joe doing a stainless steel chase cover to replace the rusted one on my chimney. They were very quick to respond to any questions that I had about measuring, etcetera, and did a great job overall. Highly recommended.

Savannah MetalWorks did an excellent job with our wrought iron and cast iron work. They were professional, efficient, and polite. Brian was wonderful! He answered any and all questions/concerns we had. SMW fit us into their schedule quickly. We are grateful for the work they completed for us. We would recommend them to all. If we have any other welding work that needs to be completed in the future we will be using SMW.

Brian is the best! I bought a “new” chandelier that arrived with broken parts. I arrived at store a bit late. No problem! Brian came back to the shop to open it and carry in the VERY heavy light. He had it ready the next day. I told him my husband had our car (out of town) for the next 2 days. NO problem! He was going home to lunch near my home and he would just drop it off. This is the most exceptional service I can recall in my 66 years on earth. So whatever you need repaired that is metal, just call Savannah Metalworks.
