We have lived on Lily Pond Rd. In Dougherty County for the past 39 years. Over the years Lily Pond has really gone down. We the residents deal with Speeders, Litter, trash, which is a daily battle. For many years my family has constantly called Public Works, to complain about these concerns. I’m call and ask for the litter to be picked up after months of accumulation. Each time I am told we are short on staff. Now to get to my main point on yesterday January 24,2023, I placed a follow up call and was told no help. I asked for the Supervisor who apparently was listening in.

Who verbally attached me stating the litters, is not an issue that it’s on the back burner because there are other more important issues. In furtherance, I am not for sure of the Supervisor name when I asked her name she sounded muffed. I will attempt to say
Ms. Jives, This lady is not professional, she is an attacker, and appears that she was waiting for me to call again. Citizens of the Country got an increase in taxes. I ask what are we getting for our constant tax increases? She continued to be unprofessional, rude, and insensitive to citizens. She will not stop me from seeking help with our litter issues.
It appears that other citizens on this street doesn’t call for help.

I have been trying to get public works to cut their grass on their property to no avail. Was given a work order and told they would get to it within a few weeks. I requested someone contact me directly but 2 weeks later grass remains uncut and no phone call.

Just watched the mosquito guy come by my house spraying at 60 mph. Might be why it doesn’t make a difference
