Do not try to get your water tested thru this office! Oh, they are super nice. I spent nearly $300 getting my well tested, and I have ZERO answers. I took a half day off work, drug my toddler to the office, followed the instructions implicitly. I took my samples to the recommended UPS store (on slappey) at 10:00 am and paid $ 50 to get the package delivered to UGA lab before 10:30 the next day as I was instructed to do. I just got an e-mail that my sample was expired! It wasn't received until 11:35 am and that it may have made it on time, but it goes to a centralized location. I used their friggin label! I called the extension office and was told that the sample was to be drawn at 7:00 am or later and mine was taken at 5:30. Well that was the first I'd heard of that. I was told I could come get another bottle! What? Three adults and a 3 year old are expected to not use any water for 6 hours prior to testing and you cannot fill the bottle before 7:00 AM. What about getting ready for work? I guess they forgot, that because it's Albany, you and your family will need to check in to a hotel the night before testing. What a waste!
