At 62 yrs old I grew up eating cane syrup. My dad use to grow cane and have it cooked down for the syrup. I'm not saying I'm an expert but I know what real cane syrup should taste like. Winters is not it. The corn syrup added ruins the taste. Yes it stopped the syrup from crystalizing but I'd rather have syrup that tastes like syrup than something else. The small amount that turns to crystals is well worth the quality and taste of the real thing. PS: the bottle I purchased formed mold on the surface of the syrup before the bottle was half empty.
