what can i say? I went through such problems with the wheels that came with my bike. I finally relented to replace them. I got local advice on specs and ordered them. PWB worked with me when those specs were wrong. I cannot say enough about the customer service. Responsive and knowledgeable. I do not know squat about wheels but they do. I am happily riding worry free now.

I've worked with Rich and Debra before and looking forward to working with him again soon. Watching him build a wheel as quick as he does makes your head spin and the guy works 80 hour weeks. Can perfectly lace and true a wheel in the fraction of time for a typical LBS mechanic. The craftsmanship + service are well worth the wait and cost.

I worked with Debra over email and phone calls and she was very knowledgable, patient, and wasn't salesy/pushy about the products they are selling. She was consultative and fair in reviewing everything from spoke, hub, rims, etc. The wheel set came out to not only look amazing, but also ride like a dream! Couldn't be happier with my set of custom wheel set by ProWheelBuilder.

Pro - a person engaged or qualified in a profession.

Do not expect ANY assistance with your wheel build (spoke count, driver type, hub advice, rim size, etc.)... you ordered it using PWB's optimizer, YOUR fault if it's wrong! Yeah, try talking to a person at this business... go ahead, try calling the number on their site. That's right, they won't talk to you.

Finally, make sure to read and obey ALL internal company policies. Even if they haven't started building your wheels and have six weeks before doing so, do no expect them to make any changes. POLICY IS POLICY, by God!

Rich and Debra are a fantastic team. I’m 6’6 285lbs and a novice cyclist. They made me feel at ease, took the time to educate me, and built me a great set of wheels well within my budget. Customer for life!

I can’t speak for the actual wheelbuilding these guys do, but I would not recommend ordering parts from them.

I originally ordered rims and a hub from them because they had good prices and a good selection. Their site claims they ship in 7 business days so I assumed that they have things in stock. I made my order on May 21.
After 7 business days and no shipment confirmation, I reached out and Debra responded that they had to order my hub from the manufacturer and it hadn’t yet arrived. OK, so it wasn’t in stock - should be listed on their web store.
Several more days passed, still nothing, so I reached out again and this time got an automated reply that the team would be gone on vacation for the next 2 weeks! I heard nothing during that time and finally, almost a month after my original order (June 19), Debra responded again to say the hub was lost in the mail and reordered. I received my shipment today (June 23), over a month after ordering.
But my hub which is listed on their website as having 3.5 degrees of engagement, only has 7. It’s fine, I still like the hub, but put together this whole experience has been atrocious.
I wish I had just ordered my parts from one of the many sites that actually has them in stock.

Debra and Richard are amazing. I wouldn't consider getting wheels built anywhere else. Great communication and setting clear expectations while still explaining several different options to get the job done. Most places would not provide this level of service in my experience .

PWB is the best. I’ve bought two sets of Nox wheels from them and can’t say enough about the wheels 🙂

The first set I had for nearly two years of riding Pishah, NC. In that time, not once did I have to true either wheel. They stayed perfectly straight! What a testament to how well they are assembled

I just received my second set for another bike and they look awesome! Deb is always so polite to answer any questions I have as well.

Both sets took about a month to get from the time I ordered them. I know I’ll never have a problem with any wheelset they lace for me. To me that is worth any amount of time to wait.

Thanks so much to guys (and Deb!) at PWB. I’ll be a customer as long as I’m on a bicycle.
