Been almost two weeks since my grill went down. Since a work order went in a tech showed up 6 days later, told me parts would be ordered and would be installed two days ago. 3 days after his visit. It’s is now the weekend and the only person I can even get a hold of was a customer service rep that told me in his own words “it’s the weekend so there’s nothing I can do and it’s not my problem”. This was said before taking any information so there’s no way he could have even looked at my work order or tried to be helpful. God forbid anything you have from them breaks and if so good luck trying to even get the help you need. The tech that came out was amazing. Super helpful and explained everything plainly. Wish I had his name so I could say more good things.

It's been 8 days since I called for service on our ice cream machine and still not even an estimate of when they might get here. Before they even consider dispatching a repairman, you MUST sign a Cash on Demand Service Agreement. The agreement for my location to get on the repair schedule lists the travel charge as $161, the hourly labor charge is $135, and if you pay by credit card, add 3% on top of that. Also if payment is not rendered when the repairman is there, they have the right to remove any parts they may have installed. So when I called again today to check on the repair, they mention that I did not check the "overtime approved" box (overtime labor rate is $202 per hour with overtime travel rates being $222 - $298, depending on your zone which they don't specify). She continued to tell me that if I had approved the overtime charges, they would have come in 24-48 hours. OMG! This ice cream machine is at a church and we try be very careful with our expenditures. We try to use the funds we have for mission trips, community outreach, kids camps, etc. I tried to call a few other kitchen repair companies in the area, but they all said that they cannot work on Taylor products and they cannot get parts for the Taylor machines. I wish I had known all of this before we purchased this machine less than a year ago.

While Taylor manufactures great machines, this particular location has probably one of the worst service departments I have ever encountered. Multiple times it has taken a tech more than 2 weeks to show up to repair the machine, and even then, it is a temporary fix and the machine continues to function improperly. The cost of said repairs is astronomical. When you call, you get a response that sounds like this: "A tech has been dispatched to your location, but we do not have an ETA on when they will be there". Perhaps open another location somewhere? Hire more people? Businesses lose money not being able to sell their product because of slow response times for service calls.

5th day, no service so far. No updates, called them twice, no ETA on service. Was told it will be time and a half if need service in emergency! I hope they show up today!
