This is a great place for so many different types of entertainment we just don’t get a lot of in in this area of north GA otherwise - plays, musicals, bands, and variety shows - they have it all - at both an affordable price and with the feel of a cozy show environment. The theatre and space is very accessible and makes for a great dinner and a show combo with all the restaurants in the general vicinity. Much better than having to venture closer to a larger city!

I was a very small part of an event that took place this past weekend. The folks at the Playhouse were amazing throughout the entire weekend. So helpful and made sure that everything went seamlessly. P, Lin (sp) and Stephanie were amazing! A perfect venue!

This is a great place to see community plays. I saw southern fried wedding and it was fun! Cast was spectacular. Please support our community playhouses! This is in elijay.

We went to our first play at the Ellijay playhouse. We loved it. The actors did a great job and it's a very good facility. We will definitely be attending more plays in the future.

Small quaint live theater. This was our first visit. The staff were overly friendly and accommodating. They play we watched, " Live Tuna" was alot of laughs! I was impressed by the number of roles these two actors portrayed. We will definitely return to the Gilmer playhouse!

No masks required or distancing enforced, so no surprise a central cast member (and friend) in Nunsense tested positive and was symptomatic for COVID-19 soon after the show we saw. But the production and performances were fun.
