The Gun Pro Shop is one of the best firearm sales and gunsmith stores anywhere! Mr. James the owner, is a trained, certificated Master Gunsmith and knows more about rifles and hunting than anyone I have ever met.
James and staff are always welcoming,
friendly, helpful and honest.
The Gun Pro Shop is a smaller firearms shop, yet their prices are very good and competitive with larger retail stores who get larger volume discounts from firearm distributors. Mr. James is retired and keeps The Gun Pro Shop going and promoting the shooting sports not to make a whopping profit, but because he truly enjoys hunting and the shooting sports. If you have ever wanted to visit Africa and go on the big game hunt of your life-visit the Gun Pro Shop and talk to Mr James, the owner.
The G.P. Shop also features a large trophy room filled with rare and seldom seen exotic animals from Africa and other countries. So bring your (hopefully well-behaved-) children to see the rare and fascinating wild and large animal trophies collection.
It will be an education and a very fun day for everyone!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The animal exhibit is unreal. Seriously large and diverse. Haven’t had the need for the gunsmith services but his shop is awesome. Very nice firearm selection as well!

I recently visited this store while visiting home. My mother wanted me to see the trophies they have displayed there (they are impressive). We eventually drifted over to the gun counter to look at a few pistols. When we asked to see a specific gun, the person behind the counter pulled the pistol from the display case, finger on the trigger, pulled the slide slightly to the rear while pointing generally our direction... and handed it to my mother. I was given pause by this, but fixed it by REMOVING THE MAGAZINE and locking the slide to the rear to fully inspect the chamber. The topic then turned to having a safety on a striker fired carry gun...the guy behind the counter demonstrated how easily managed the safety is by....and none of this is exaggerated... pulling a gun from the display case, sweeping the safety off, pointing it at my father standing to our left AND PRESSING THE TRIGGER.... !?

I almost jumped out of my skin.

I teach firearms and tactics for a major manufacturer. I travel the world doing it, and am exposed to any number of safety cultures....some good, some bad.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE ABJECT DISREGARD FOR SAFETY I SAW IN THIS SHOP. I was truly taken aback..

I would not go back as a matter of principle but far more importantly...as a matter of safety.

Bought a new gun, not from Gun Pro. Had trouble getting it to eject. Dropped the Beretta A300 Ultima off. The gunsmith was able to give it immediate attention and helped determine the issue. Took it out today and it performed flawlessly. Thank you very much.

I just had a FFL transfer but really enjoyed talking with these guys about different weapons & ammo. As ex military and law enforcement, plus gunsmith, I was impressed with the knowledge & ease of The Gun Pro Shop. A very nice selection of handguns and rifles.
