Upon purchasing our home, Akins required an inspection of the gas tank leased with them. After they came out and inspected the tank we noticed a strong gas smell when doing yard work. Akins came out and said the leak was due to their error and they would give us a refund for the gas that had leaked out. We waited for almost three weeks and then called and was told the manager would call me back and as of today, we still have not heard from them. Poor customer service!

LOVE this company!! I wanted a gas cook top stove. They arrived promptly to give me an estimate. An appointment was made and they once again arrived promptly to install the tank, line and my stove top. The stove I ordered had a defective burner. Once the replacement part was received, Jordan came back to make it right at no charge. As it turns out, the thermo coupling was not the issue but the gas valve. Jordan again came back. He went over and above to make it right. Thank you Jordan!!

I'm the Director of Operations at Powerhouse Diesel Generators in Valdosta GA. We manufacture diesel, propane, natural gas, and gasoline engine driven generators. As you can imagine we go through quite the amount of fuel and rely heavily on AKINS for supply. I can't speak highly enough about the exceptional service provided by Monty Hall over the years we have worked together. Any time we have an issue he is always out by the next day but often times he's on site the same day I call. Every time he leaves my facility the work is done above and beyond my expectations. The guy even came in special on a Saturday to get my powdercoating ovens hooked up so I could meet some major deadlines the following week. Guys like him and the service we get are the reasons we love doing business with AKINS. Seriously, don't let him go anywhere! But a huge thank you to the whole team over at AKINS Petroleum!
