There are two sewing shops in Augusta, and Jeff's is by far the better. They have a good selection of sewing machines, vacuums, and sewing supplies. They even carry some great potato fabric.
The employees are friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. The sewing machine we bought came with a free lesson and free needles, bobbins, and feet. Another perk is 10% off all future purchases.

I love this place. They have great customer service. They service my embroidery machines. I drive an hour and 30 mins for their service. I don’t let anybody else touch my machines. 10/10 would recommend.

Thought it would be good to support local shops! Sadly after making my $900 vacuum purchase i decided to look on line. Highest priced miele vacuum (new) same model was $550. With lower prices , depending where purchased. Ohhhhh, a lesson well learned,,,sadly..

I dropped off two vacuums, didn’t have a clue as to what was wrong with them. One was my first Kirby that I had for many years and the second one was just under two years old, but of course, out of warranty, Jeff had them both fixed and ready to pick up the next day. Unfortunately for me ,I live a little more than two hours away and it was a month before I was back over that way. I was fully expecting them to be sold by now but when I called to see if they were still there , they said yes. I was able to pick them up the next day. Thanks so much to this wonderful team of people.

Warm, friendly, and helpful! I love when an actual person answers the phone and is genuinely interested in helping you with your question. I wasn't sure if an older, inexpensive sewing machine was worth having repaired and found out they will offer a free estimate to see what might be required to have it running again! I'll definitely drop it off and feel confident the advice they will provide will be truthful and in my best interests. Thank you!

Just had a GREAT experience. Took my personal embroidery machine in for a service and had in back in less than 24 hours!!! This amazed me- I’m used to waiting 6+ weeks in my old state. This was my first experience and I will definitely be back. Customer service was top notch! The gentleman met me at the door and carried my machine in without being asked. And when I picked up the lady was super friendly, knowledgeable, and took her time showing me around and answering my questions. These days that’s hard to come across, but these people really made me feel like an appreciated customer. Can’t wait to get back to sewing!!

I took my Singer machine here two separate times to be serviced and fixed. They were very nice, very polite, and very friendly, but at the first visit the tech told me I had the wrong sized bobbin and replaced it. When I picked up my machine, they also told me they fixed whatever was wrong and "serviced" it. It worked okay, but about two months later I took the machine back in for the same problems it had before. They immediately told me I had the wrong sized bobbin (it was the same one he'd put in). He replaced it again and said everything would be fine. I got it home, and the machine steadily got worse to the point of being non-functional. I wound up taking my Singer to another place who told me it looked like the machine had never been serviced. I had to wait a couple of weeks, but now it runs better than it ever has before, and this place provided an itemized list of exactly what they did. I don't know what's going on with Jeff's--maybe they don't like Singers--but I'm never going there again with this machine.

Wow! Dropped my Miele vacuum off at 10 am, they were done servicing it within a few hours. Yay! Picked up by 2:30 pm!! They took very very good care of me and my vacuum. Definitely did not over charge and really under charged me for what they did. I paid for the hepa filter and I bought some smelly stuff you sprinkle on the carpet to keep your vacuum smelling good. My vacuum isn't very old, a little over a year and they fixed my stuck cord that wasn't retracting and cleaned that baby up. She was stinky from (probably operator error) the suction missing the bag and going into the interior. Thank you, Dave over at Jeff's Sewing. I'm very pleased with getting excellent service and with a smile. I will definitely be back for any of my vacuum or sewing needs. BTW - this place is huge for a small business selling sewing machine and vacuums.
