Very professional team, and efficient would highly recommend. They definitely have our yard back restored from Hurricane Helene. To finish the review Von and Charlie cleaned our yard back up, answered all our questions you don’t even know work was done here. Marcus was also very informative and professional if I could remember all of their names I would have definitely mentioned them all.

I've used this company two years ago to replace a retaining wall on the side of my house, so when it came to this project I knew who I was calling. They are so easy to work with. Marcus came out measured my yard and listened to what I was wanting. I had a quote the next day with flowers and plants he picked out for me. Once the project was scheduled they showed up at 8:30am and worked until it was dark. They got the project completed in three days. I don't remember the names of the three guys that did the work but they were sweet. I sent a text at 8am after the project was completed letting them know that two sprinkler heads were not working and the guys were out there the same day replacing them. I have no complaints. They always do a fantastic job and I will continue to use them on any more projects in the future.

Get everything in writing. Double check the work. Don't make a final payment until you are satisfied. I just hope it looks good in the Spring. It's still very bumpy right now.

Wow! Marcus is a good salesman but short on follow through.
You came back to our house two times to fix mistakes. 1. The wrong type of sod was put down in half of the backyard. You came back, took it up and installed the correct sod. 2. You came back to fix sod that was too low - you added dirt under the sod.
The ground was never rolled and leveled prior to the placement of sod. You said you roll the sod after 60 days. It's been at least 6 months and you still haven't rolled the yard, even after several requests.
Our lawn is not flat and is difficult to mow because it wasn't ever leveled properly.
I'll take more pictures today, and you tell me if this is a quality job.
We tried really hard to work with you but day laborers aren't always knowledgeable landscapers. Your team lead was good and very knowledgeable but he had limited assistance from the day laborers.
By the way, the 1st set of pictures were taken after EVERYTHING was completed and you can see from the second set that the grass still hasn't grown together.

After having high winds from Hurricane Helene we were left with a torn down fence and damaged wooden retaining wall. We had several landscaping companies come out for estimates and our insurance originally only wanted to pay out about 20% or less of the cost of repairs we were quoted for. At least 3 companies wouldn’t work with us to submit proper itemized quote to try to get a better payout from insurance. Marcus reached out after seeing a post I made on Facebook looking for companies who would work better with insurance requests. He was able to write a letter to our insurance with a proper itemized quote that led to our insurance making a substantially higher payout to cover about 70% of repair costs. Augusta Landscaping was also one of the most reasonably priced quotes we were given.
It did take a little under 2 months after paying our deposit for our start date for repairs due to weather and supply delays but understandable that schedules are busy with work requests after the hurricane. I do wish there was a little better communication regarding a confirmed start date as I wasn’t made aware our repairs were getting pushed back 2 weeks until a couple days prior to original start date and didn’t know our new confirmed start date until I happened to login to my account and see we had an appointment date set in there (was originally told I would be text with new confirmed date).
Crew was respectful, asked us our preference on how we wanted fence planks to be placed. There was a mixup where the wrong color top caps for our stone wall were brought to the site (tan instead of gray) but thankfully one of the contractors noticed and had crew go switch the color out before they were secured down. Work took about 3.5 days to complete, which we found reasonable for the job at hand. The stone wall turned out looking so much better than the wood we had prior and is much more sturdy. Fence looks level and nicely constructed (just had to point out to crew that one wood plank wasn’t screwed down at the bottom where it moved and they secured it before leaving).
Our one suggestion we would make is that we wish crew went back over our yard with a magnetic strip to collect any stray nails/screws from the job. We have young children and dogs who play in the yard so my husband borrowed a magnet from our neighbors to go over the yard and collected a good handful of screws/nails that were left behind.
Overall very pleased with the work that was done. The results look great and Augusta Landscaping was the only company to offer an insurance letter to help get us more of our repair costs covered, which was a huge relief.

I chose to use Augusta Landscaping for some much needed work to my backyard. I went with this company because I liked the design they presented and the quote was more competitive than some of the others I received. I was very impressed with Marcus and his team! They showed up on time every day and worked efficiently. Most importantly, the final result looks great and was identical to the design I was given.

We were satisfied with the finished job of replacing our retaining wall that was damaged during hurricane Helene. Chris and Marcus were helpful in describing the options and process of the work. There were delays on the start of the project due to supplies being on back order, but we appreciated the ongoing communication. Once work began, we did have to contact the project manager several times to address workers not properly following instructions from Augusta Landscaping. For example the top soil was placed on top of the gravel without landscaping fabric, but Marcus was able to have this corrected by having the workmen dig the soil back up to place the fabric. There was some minor damages to the driveway/grass during the project that were repaired once the wall was constructed. Overall the work was reasonably priced and we were happy with the result. The project manager Marcus was very attentive in making sure he addressed all of our concerns.
