First off I want to thank Dr. O’Neil and his team for being so kind and helpful! During my consultation up until my appointment has been a smooth process! At first I was concerned about the procedure due to anxiety. Dr. O’Neil and his team was reassuring when it came to instructions alone with the whole process. I am so glad I have chosen the right Doctor for the procedure! Definitely recommend Dr. O’Neil and his team!

I received care on 14 March 2025. Everyone who I spoke with and provide me with administrative assistance and medical care was and is friendly and professional. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and my physical comfort was a very high priority down to offering me a blanket to keep me warm in the surgery clinic. ( I am shamefully embarrassed for not saying "please," and "thank you," when it was offered. The waiting area and restrooms are very clean, neat and orderly. Pagers are issued to patient escorts to summon them when patient 's care is complete. This is perhaps one of the very best treatment facilities I have received care at.

This facility is amazing! I had my first ever oral surgery today with Dr. Trotter and he is fabulous! Very kind and helpful, was able to get me in for surgery quicker than expected. I really appreciate the workers here and Dr. Trotter for everything they’ve done!

“Stop that crying, and wipe your face off” when my daughter was wheeled out her face and neck was drenched in tears (dried and wet). I wasn’t allowed to comfort her. I don’t know how she felt. It pains me.
I do not recommend this facility for minor children. Upon check in, I asked the front desk staff, Pam non-clinical questions pertaining the consents I was signing. Pam was extremely RUDE and lacked professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service skills.

I respectfully asked questions, Pam was short with her responses and shut the window in my face. Her only response was “HIPPA violations”. Whereas, the patient, my minor daughter’s health protected privacy wasn’t being violated. I’ve been required to take HIPAA classes on a yearly basis since the law was passed.

I thoroughly expressed my concerns to the scheduler. The scheduler was nice and instructed me to converse with the doctor the day of surgery.

I’ve personally had over 30 surgeries starting as a minor and my mom/husband was always present when I received my IV and was with me until I went to room where the procedure was being performed. They were also there when I woke up in the recovery room.

I didn’t understand how my daughter’s privacy (or other patients) was being violated if I were present while she received her IV. My daughter is terrified of needles and 1st surgical procedure. I was never told I couldn’t be present with my child. My daughter only had her stuffed animal and cried as she walked away with the clinical staff, Crystal.

Crystal was nice & empathized as a parent. I explained to Crystal, the scheduler and de that 3 of my former students died from a Fentanyl overdose. I asked if my daughter could have an alternative medication. I asked the scheduler as well and I was told by them both, something comparable can be given. The scheduler informed me that her stepson passed away from an accidental fentanyl overdose.

The doctor came out to speak to me. I explained to him that I fully understand the clinical aspect regarding the administration of fentanyl during a surgical procedure. It can be safe. The doctor further explained his plan of action regarding administration of the drug. I was told by Pam, there wasn’t going to be an anesthesiologist present, but an RN. The doctor assured me he has a permit or certification in anesthesia. He assured me the process to make sure my daughter was safe.

While my daughter was in the recovery room, she said a Caucasian lady with curly hair told her to “stop that crying and wipe your face off”. This was my daughter’s first surgery. My daughter had undeveloped primary teeth “buried” in the roof of her mouth, and stitches. She is a child and she was asking for her mom. She just work up from having 5 teeth removed.

My daughter said the woman was mean and told her to be quiet. How would my daughter know she had drool on her face and to wipe it off? I’m sure my daughter was numb. I am almost 50 years old and I drool when I have less invasive dental procedures . The MA’s always wipe my face off because I am unaware that there is drool. Imagine a child. My daughter is traumatized and asked me to never take her back to that place. Unfortunately, this will be her lasting memory of her first surgical experience.

Lastly, I have pretty good dental coverage. My out-of-pocket pay was quoted at $988 to extract five teeth. I asked the scheduler to only remove 4. I was told to talk to my daughter’s orthodontist. I told the orthodontist that I only wanted the 4 teeth removed that will not come out on their own as the 5th was currently loose. When I signed the consent, it was for 4 teeth. However, my daughter had 5 teeth extracted. The doctor informed me after the procedure that the orthodontist wanted 5 teeth removed, however, I already made it abundantly clear that I only wanted the 4 removed that will not come out on their own and needed to be cut out. One of the teeth that was oremoved was already loose and barely hanging on. I will await the EOB as I only consented to 4 extractions.

I been seeing Dr. O'Neil and his team for years and he did 3 implants already for me. He is the best in his field. He does such an awesome job with pulling teeth and putting in implants like almost pain free. Amazing Doctor. Also all the ladies working there are absolutely wonderful. Always a great experience. I could not ask for a better Doctor, and team. Thanks a lot.

Want to give a great big shout out to the Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Evans GA. Can’t say enough about how amazing they are. Their entire staff is kind and friendly and Doctor Huffman is simply amazing at what he does. I had my wisdom teeth taken out on Thursday and its been so easy my worst day was Thursday and it was good to say the least. If you know me you know I have the biggest fear of the dentist or any dental work and panic just thinking about it but they made it so relaxing. Great folks. If you ever need this kind of service I highly recommend ♥️ Thank you for all you The best🦷🦷♥️♥️

I went under the last name Smith but my experience with Dr. Huffman was exemplary. The receptionist and nursing staff was nice and professional. The doctor had great bedside manner, was professional, and made himself available if I had post op questions. I highly recommend if you need oral surgery to use this practice.
