We visited Paul's (and Wanda's!) Mountain Meats for the first time today but it certainly won't be our last visit!
We moved into the area a few months ago and were searching for some good quality steaks and found this place online. The reviews were all glowing so we had to give it a try. We are very glad we did!
Paul and Wanda welcomed us into their business and treated us as if they had known us for years.
We told Wanda what we were looking for and she said Paul would take care of us and he certainly did. He provided us with a selection of beautiful beef tenderloins from which to choose and he cut the one we picked while we browsed their amazing selection.
Of course, while we were there we found several other items we wanted and they were kind enough to make suggestions. Paul even offered a sample of some absolutely wonderful cider from a bottle he opened while we were there and, of course, it was so good we bought a couple bottles of that too! We also bought a selection of jams, jellies, butters and preserves.
Paul and Wanda Bowen are, without doubt, the friendliest and most helpful people we've encountered in many years, guaranteeing we will be return customers in the near future... and we can't wait to eat those beautiful filets!

Paul's mountain meats has it all! They carry a wide variety of meats, cheeses and butters. Also, foam coolers, frozen meals, spices and more. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. PS ... Try the gunpowder spice! And the Amish butter! ?

We had the opportunity to visit this location after a hike! The workers here truly care about their craft. They greeted us and talked to us about their local jams and butters (of course I picked up two of!) and they were happy to help me get some knuckle bones for my dog to chew on! I felt very welcomed and their prices were very reasonable! I highly recommend checking this place out!!

Excellent selection of jams, jellies! I am very excited to try the Strawberry Jalepeno Pepper Jelly over Cream Cheese! The lady that checked me out with my items to purchase was so friendly and very helpful! I highly recommend this hometown store!

The best local meat market/specialty shop I've ever been too. A wonderful, unique selection of local sauces, jams, honey ect. Specialty cheeses and homemade meats are superior quality. In fact, we drive from Florida just to stock up on the homemade breakfast and hot sausage...it is just that good and well worth the trip. Not to mention the location...right next to the beautiful nocculula falls. The owners are fantastically friendly people.

Such a great surprise coming here to grab some meat for dinner next to the camp site. The staff is over the moon friendly and the selection is the best in down. They even have real sugar sodas. If you are camping at the falls this is a must stop place for campfire steak and in house made sausage
