Didn’t have the best of times for 1st visit due mostly to extreme rainy weather. Arrived on 5/9/24 @ 7:23am. For shipping \ receiving you have to proceed to Gate# 3(Gate#1 is Exit only. Gate#2 is Employees only). Supposedly they monitor CB channel #7, I got no response before pulling in after 3ea separate trucks instantly pulled in ahead of me.
After pulling up onto scales and checking in with scale and shipping Person (Graham ) , you have to loop thru back yard and back out Gate#1 onto Spurline Dr.. This time to back up to outside Dock#1(located to the rhs of Gate#3 entrance, you’ll have to blindside back into entrance eventually sliding trailer tandems and opening doors. Chock wheel too.
Dock is pretty rough and space to load 2ea dry van trailers. They want you to stay hooked and in your truck while loading. Today I picked up big ingot blocks of aluminum(see pics).
It rained cats and dogs during and after loading for me . Thought everything looked good until I got up into trailer and was horrified to see 3ea ingot blocks right up against the wall. These blocks I was told weigh 2000lbs ea..
I was picking up 19ea and didn’t trust being wet and placed on a wet floor they would not move.
After live loading and strapping the ingots down , you have to pull out onto Spurline Dr and jig around a little , pull back into facility and up onto scales where you checked in originally . Go in and see Graham for BOL, Sample and Weigh Tally.
No bathroom was seen , but could possibly overnight along side of Spurline Dr.. Loading could have gone better with ingots placed closer together in middle and more away from walls.I probably used 7-8 straps and 3 vinyl corner protectors to secure ingot blocks from moving and damaging walls. Departure was at 9:20 am delay due to strapping load down(only about 15 mins to live load).
Load wasn’t real heavy, approximately 37,000 lbs net wt.. No seal was supplied, so I pulled one from my stash and paddle locked as well.

If racist was a place this would be it. As a truck driver I’ve been to a lot of places and this is probably the worst. Once they see the color of your skin, they feel like they can talk to you any kind of way. They would have you wait all day with no information. It got to the point where I told my company to never send me here again. If I could put a 0 out of 5 stars I would. Never come to Tennessee Aluminum Processors in Alabama they are stuck in the old days still.

Do not deliver here. They will put a hole in your trailer wall and make you sign a waiver that they are not responsible. Also don't haul aluminum shavings. It will ruin your dry van. Stay away!

Straightforward, if picking up pull in to entrance and go left for empty weight , circle back out and around to go to docks facing the entrance after checking at scale. It's a blindside back off road but gate/entryway is nice n wide assuming you don't setup way off and hit the ditch . People were nice and fork driver loaded the ingots very fast. no complaints, no bs to be had.

Easy in/out.. scale is through gate 3/ease to ur left..stay on scale(5mph or less)/go inside to check in. Pay attention as to what the person who checks you in, tells you. Also take your time driving in yard...lots of debris, product and workers scattered all about the area. I am an OTR flatbed truck driver and was told by loader(Roger, really nice guy) to scale out before securing the SOW I picked up to make sure you are NOT overweight. There is parking out in street. Just DON'T block any entrances or exits to both facilities to avoid truck drivers/staff from going in or out the place. God speed/Be safe out here and take care drivers!
