Food Trucks South built me the most amazing Shaved ice truck. Tara really listened to all my needs and incorporated them into this impressive beast! I Will be using them for all future trucks I need built.

Had the opportunity to check out the Fowl Play Food Truck. The young lady that took my order was super friendly (and patient, as I asked probably 20 questions about their menu)!

I settled on the Lamberjack burger and fries($16.)
As the name implies, it’s a ground lamb burger. The patty itself was really good! It was juicy (even though I ordered it well done. (Y’all know I’ve had a food Bourne illness, and I don’t play around with ground meat that isn’t ALL THE WAY DONE! The burger was mild and not at all gamey, and it was a nice thickness.
My Only issue: the burger is served on a Brioche bun with cheese. (First, Brioche is one of my all-time Favorite breads/buns) BUT, in this application, it’s not that good. Brioche is too sweet, and to some degree overpowers the mild lamb.
The bun for this burger (in my humble opinion) should be either an artisanal hamburger bun or a regular bun with sesame seeds to give the burger a little bit of depth and texture. I’d like to see some crispy crunchy lettuce.(If I were designing it).
For me, the fries were a miss; They were soggy and I had to put them in the air fryer when I got em’ upstairs, additionally, I feel like for $16 there could have been more fries.

I’m giving the sammy 4 stars because the patty itself was really really good and cooked perfectly,
