I drove all over the state of Alabama and received the best customer service and price from Smith Manufacturing in Troy! Ashley is amazing and truly does all she can to make her customers happy. She also points things out that you would have never thought of and I appreciated that so much! Glen is also amazing and takes great care to make sure everything is set up and done correctly. I recommend everyone to them!

Smith and the employees are the best place to purchase a mobile home. I worked with Ashley from the start of my journey. Though I went and looked at other places. I did not come in contact with anyone that had a better attitude and as helpful as Ashley. She answered any question I had and made the but process so easy for a first time home buyer. They had my home set up and ready for me to move into in way faster than I expected. And the most important thing kept in contact even after I have moved into my home.

Ok. Where do I start? Ashley and Glenn are incredibly nice people. They made sure me and my husband knew about the entire process, the home, and answered any questions (which were many) we had. Smith's has the best prices. I checked everywhere Dothan, Montgomery, and even into Florida. If you have a problem, I called Ashley and it got taken care of. My husband and I are so happy with our home. We are so happy that we went to Smith's Manufactured Home.

Glen and Ashley went above and beyond helping me get set up in my new home. They have excellent customer service from beginning to end and then still after as they have been so glad to help me after my home was all set up with other type stuff, like registering appliances. I highly recommend them for your mobile home needs.

So far, not really impressed. We bought this mobile home more than 3 weeks ago (paid in cash) and they were days late on bringing it and getting basic setup done. We had water hooked up right away, then had to beg them to do the end siding so that we could hook up power. We got power hooked up right away. But, to this day; the inside isn't finished, 3 doors (including the front door) won't close, and there are still NO front steps. I'll give another review after it's done.

Well they finally finished the house after another 3 weeks. 6 1/2 weeks in total. Again, we paid cash up front and they guaranteed the house would be done in a couple of weeks. The biggest problem in my opinion is this lady Ashley. She loves to make excuses and even got on to me when I called with questions. Their cleaning lady showed up with NO notification and said there was no water. There was water hooked up, but we didn't turn it on. If we knew she was coming, we would have. And she took my broom and dust pan with her. Ashley said it's OK she'll bring it back when she comes out again. The problem is; she didn't. Plus, Ashley said she wouldn't come out again until there was a septic tank hooked up. I'm not sure how that matters since she came out the first time with no septic. Then, all of a sudden, the plumbing guys couldn't come out until there was septic tank. Again I don't understand why. On top of all that; Ashley also said that the guys couldn't do the skirting or steps until the septic was in. Still, makes absolutely NO sense.
I had my double wide set up on the same property, and it took 5 days to set up the ENTIRE house, without septic, water, or power. Again, this lady Ashley is a JOKE. All she does is give excuses. And if you don't like it; she gets on to you and acts like you're stupid, even though you are the one paying them a lot of money.
This place might be a bit cheaper, but if you want good quality work; DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Here is an update. Ashley decide to respond to my review about 2 or 3 months after it was posted. After further review on my part, I see that Ashley is the REAL problem with this company. Glen and all the workers I have dealt with are great. They show up, do the work and get it done without wasting any time. The problem is; if you have any issues or complaints about anything you have to deal with her. She makes incredibly stupid excuses for everything that makes no sense, and if you criticize her, she acts like you ( the customer ) are the problem. She's a joke and a piece of crap. This company would be a hundred times better without her. Past customers that had great experiences with them will still say Ashley sucks.

Absolutely best experience. Ashley and Glenn are the best. They are so helpful and stayed on top of everything. I wouldn't change a thing. I absolutely love my new home.

This place and the people are the worst I have ever dealt with and Clayton Homes.. what some their relatives, put these 5 star reviews on here. I walk upon two guy’s they sent to the house for repair, Stated: That they did these people wrong. I said yea I know they did. now I am gathering my papers and notes to file.
