I don't want to leave a 1 star review because my issue was resolved. BUT... I called to let someone know I was inadvertently receiving someone else's bill/auto pay emails. (I live in CT) The woman I spoke to was unbelievably RUDE! Should not be handling customer service calls. She told me there was no way I was receiving someone else's bill that they don't even service CT. Which means she didn't even understand the concept that someone had the wrong email for this customer. She gave me a 'hold please' (rudely) and the office manager came on and told me yes there was an error that they had the wrong email listed for their customer. It was resolved. To which I thanked her and told her whoever answers customer service line is RUDE. wow

Neighborhood disposal is the best disposal company. I switched from Time disposal “GFL” because they kept missing my recycle pick up, despite multiple calls and giving them the opportunity to fix it. My little boy loves watching the trash and recycling truck, pick up our cans; the driver always gives him a honk and wave, which makes his day! I can’t recommend these guys enough.

In 30+ years as homeowners, Neighborhood Disposal is by far the BEST trash company we have ever used. Their customer service is top notch and our pick up team is the BEST! Our pick up time is about 3:30 AM so we put our trash out the night before. Last night we forgot. At 6:45 this morning my husband decided to put our can out and he planned to call the office when they open at 8. No need, the Neighborhood Disposal truck drove by our side street saw our can out, and picked it up within seconds of putting out. If you are considering switching to Neighborhood Disposal, do it!. They are not just a trash company they are the Good Guys all around!

Just started with Neighborhood Disposal, and their prices are fair which is nice. What I've enjoyed so far is there was a hiccup with recycle pick up. It wasn't picked up on the scheduled week; I thought perhaps I had the wrong week. I set the recycle out this week and not picked up again.
Emailed them asking what week my recycle was suppose to be picked up, and what had happened. No big deal, but I was getting a nice collection of recycling building up at home. They called and emailed me in less than an hour. Apologized, told me what week I was suppose to be.
Then, and most importantly, they came today to pick up the recycle. Most other trash services would have just made me wait until my schedule week. They were responsive, and proactive in fixing the issue, which is a sign of a good company.
