New tenant experience as well as first time apartment dweller!

Being the thorough person I am, Parq 170 was one of MANY properties I looked to rent an apartment at. Ultimately they won me over with price, location to my job but mainly with the checklist and how thorough it checked things off.
Jade gave a wonderful tour and was answering my numerous questions accurately and to my satisfaction. She was quick to respond to my incessant emails with last minute questions.

With nice apartments, and with Jade, a friendly and helpful leasing professional, I’d definitely say that Parq 170 was the right choice for me.

Based on tour experience only:

We stopped by for an evening tour. The "future resident" parking was full despite there being one other family in the leasing office. The parking itself is two lots, the resident lot and the guest lot which is further away and closer to the end of the property line (at the time the lights were not working). Jade at the office was very kind and polite, easy to get along with. Few concerns were a resident notified an issue with the elevator getting stuck (to which they immediately notified someone of to repair), the elevator itself has gnats on it, and some of the doors to the apartments were sticking. The two upgrades we looked at were very clean and modern which some complexes don't keep up with as much. There is no real dining area set aside in the 1bed 1baths if you need one. No ceiling light in the bedroom either. However, there was closet space both in the bedroom and the hallway. The layout to get around was functional. The patio was spacious and rules on decoration are limited. Pet friendly community with an online portal for residents. Also has a very open and forward fees list you can review. Still finalizing my options as I knew someone that absolutely loved their time leasing here.

I am just wanna say about allot of thing about this I been live here 24/7 police comes here for the crime seens and there trash place is always full and I been here and Property manger William don’t listen anything when you guys take this place before you talk make sure you guys need to read all those google view and I been talk to him my daughter was really sick on that time and I been sign the lease for 6 months I just fill out I am when I went to the court on 02/28/2025 in the court house speak with William on the court house he shock his head I we’ll see I can do for you guys then I went to Clark office to speak with then he told me lawyer go to office talk to the Landloard I was very hopeless about this Propty Manger I I just wanna give you head of time don’t live here and this please is full stress with everything they not ready listen to anything

I’ve had a very enjoyable time living here since moving 3 months ago. Will was very helpful answering all my questions and my apartment was spotless when I moved in. Very impressed with the cleaning staff! Common areas are always in good shape

I had to edit my review because living here is getting ridiculous. The complex refuses to take any real action when it comes to resident complaints. We are forced to use WhiteSky internet (there is no opt out and is 65 dollars a month). It is literally listed on my bill as “high speed internet” and instead, we get a subnet connection with no router access and lots of outages. Apartment management NEVER picks up the phone and when you inevitably go into their office, they make up excuses.

I have complained about serious issues such as out of control pets (one lunged at me in the elevator) and the manager took no action. Since then, we have had additional incidents with that same dog. Our water quality is abysmal. We have had multiple issues with lack of hot water and the water smelling off.

If you are looking to move here, I strongly advise against it. The price just isn’t worth it.

Wouldn't live here if you suffer from epilepsy or have nervous animals. The fire alarm keeps going off, either because of kids pulling the alarm, a random test or an actual FIRE. We recently had a fire in our building that people thought was a drill. The alarm went off for hours until the fire department left. It's VERY loud and 10 times worse in the hallways. We get home yesterday thinking we can relax afterwork and the alarm goes off for an hour. We are seriously considering moving.

I have been living here for 6months. The place is nice, clean and quiet. Maintenance is fast when it comes to fix any issue and they're very professional. Even though I would like to see some basic upgrades in the gym like a basic bench press, essential bars, cable machine accessories.
Water is expensive, over a $100 every month and we're just 2.

Overall experience is good.
