Working with Tate was truly a great experience. We needed railings for three entry points at our home and contacted him for a quote after receiving one from another company that was outside our budget. Just a miniscule, but technical job of repairing an articulating floor lamp....why you ask? Well it is a very specific brand of lamp that uses a specialized bulb for craft work. Of course they can be replaced...except the vendor stopped making styles that are living-room presentable 10+ years ago. Well the one my wife bought 15+ years ago snapped at the hinge. Looked high and low for a replacement, none to be found anywhere.

So now to try and fix it....well beyond my skillset and available tools in the garage. Best I could do was obtain a suitable replacement hinge, but, as always, everything was just that much different so the easy fix was out the window.

I was able to reach out to Tate to see if he could make the magic happen so my wife would not be saddled with an ugly, post-modern, plastic, bendy light in the living room.

And magic did indeed happen. After a couple of missed connections (no one's fault) the light was refurbished well past my wife's expectations given the condition we had found it on the floor one fateful morning. Good as new? no, but that wasn't going to happen with the type of material that fractured. Clean, presentable, sturdy, and usable? 100%.

Tate constructed a double gate for our backyard entrance. He did an excellent job and expertly resolved issues such as a slope in the concrete so that the gates hung perfectly. Tate is a quality-minded professional who listens to what his customers want/need and keeps in contact with them regarding status, solutions to problems, etc. The bid from Stark Naked Fabrication was extremely reasonable and the work was meticulous. Materials are heavy-duty and all details (e.g. hinges) were the best solution available. We highly recommend Tate if you want a quality product done with quality workmanship!
