1st road trip with grandson going to Globe,AZ. Approximately 80 miles from Phoenix and it took about 1 hour, 15 minutes. There is a $5 admission for adults, kids 12& under are free. There is a room where they have a 12 minute video describing the people along with the history of the area. Very interesting and I enjoyed it but my grandson wanted to be an explorer but he got through it. There are a lot of tools and utensils that were on display and pottery. It's a nice outing for kids and they have fun exploring the sites outdoors. As a descendant of the Cherokee tribe from the East Coast, learning about the tribes here is very informative. Very good history lesson and the gift shop has treats from the area, jewelry made from local artists, and too many other things to add. Happy learning!

This is a fantastic museum and garden. Very informative and great representations of desert cacti. Oh, and the quail were flocking, flapping and being adorable.

This museum is a hidden gem of Globe! It’s so rich with history, and both the outdoor area / ruins and inside museum has so much information. The staff was kind and answered all our questions. They had a military discount so it was only $3/pp.

A wonderful, small museum that is well signed and easy to digest. The inside display of artifacts found is comprehensive and walking around the ruins gives a good sense of how the people must have lived. In addition there is a small botanical garden with examples of local cactus and flowers. We really enjoyed our visit.
