I love my custom Dune Sport toy hauler trailer! It is so cool! This was the best decision I ever made when it was time to upgrade my toy hauler from the last one. I got to design my own trailer including size, length, colors, and accessories. They worked with me to build it how I wanted it. I got tons of accessories and even some extras I wasn't expecting. And the best part was, I got a trailer with no kitchen on the side getting in the way of my side by side. This company has excellent customer service and were patient with my additions to the trailer before it was built. I even went back and had them add a couple more items, like solar, an extended counter top, and another bathroom cabinet. I am very pleased with my quality built Man Cave trailer and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We are so pleased with our 16 foot toy hauler. Rodney and Tom did excellent customer service walking us through it all. The trailer is so well made. Better than anything we saw where we live. We love our Dune Sport! We went to them because they build wheelchair accessible trailers. Not only do they build them, they let you design your floor plan so it works for you. Rodney was great to work with. He was patient and let us change things right up until they were ordering parts for our trailer. Their work is far above standard for the RV industry. We have had a couple of issues with parts but the same company makes almost everything and Rodney helped us with warranty when we needed it. We have taken numerous short trips and some 2-3 week trips. The lift and the roll-In shower are lifesavers. I would not hesitate to buy another trailer from Dune Spot.

Ordered oir custom toy hauler in February and it was ready in august. Exactly what we ordered. The process was so simple. Everything was easy. They hung on to it for over a month while we finished our rv garage. Had a great first trip. Found our few initial quirks but less than any other new trailer we’ve purchased. For the price and custom design there is no better option than dunesport. Hands down. You can literally build anything you want from a quad axle 46ft 5th wheel to a basic 14ft toy hauler, ADA trailer, mobile office. You name it. Your imagination and pocketbook are the only limit.

Our experience with our custom 39' 5th wheel toy hauler has been great. We rate them 5 stars not because everything was perfect but because they were willing to build us exactly what we wanted at a very fair price point. And this is how we feel after 5 years of ownership, we took delivery in March of 2020 just as the Pandemic was ramping up. We have been living in our rig full time since April of 2021. We had a list of very specific requirements that we were unable to find in any other trailer at any price. Rodney at Dunesport was the only one who said they could build us what we wanted - and they did. We built our design around our 95 GEO Tracker 4x4, our "toy" that we carry in back. When the Tracker is out, the garage converts into our living room, with a 55" Screen and Ikea lounge chairs that are stored on the platform above, along with 2 recumbent trikes and 2 mountain bikes. Because of the weight of the Tracker, we wanted the rest of the trailer to be as light as possible, which they did by making the cabinetry very light weight - our dry weight is 12k lbs, which is amazing for this size and style of trailer. We have a full wall between the garage and the rest of the trailer to isolate any vehicle odors. We were concerned how well balanced the rig would be unloaded vs. having a 3000lb car in back. No problem! We wanted lots of counter space with a breakfast bar in the kitchen, and recliners with tray tables instead of a dinette. Our last trailer didn't really have comfortable seating, especially during travel days, and counter space in trailers usually seems to be an afterthought. We wanted 2 toilets, and we wanted them to both empty into the same black tank so we would only have one to empty, and not have to use a pump to move waste to the black tank. We wanted a king bed, and extra cabinets for clothing. We wanted white, not beige walls and light toned wood look cabinets instead of gray or super dark stained wood that everyone else was making. We only wanted one slide to reduce weight and keep mechanical systems to a minimum. Rodney was able to produce drawings quickly and we went back and forth fine-tuning our design until we had finally arrived at exactly what we wanted. So we've had some issues that DS has worked with us on, and we understand this is a difficult business model they have to turn out something so unique. We went with aluminum framed walls and fiberglass skin. After having scraped off decals from our last trailer and replacing them, we elected to have absolutely no graphics on our trailer except the Dunesport name on the back. We had a water leak in front that I found and they paid me to fix it myself rather than be forced to a repair shop to wait for months. We replaced a bathroom cabinet with a larger one, we didn't like the shower stall so we replaced with a different one, we put sliding shelves under the kitchen sink and the stove. I installed a second spare tire under the garage. I replaced self tapping screws on the rear jacks with bolts. We changed the way the bed was framed so we have better access to storage under it. The door into garage was really hinged on the wrong side, so we reversed it. Really, because this was such a custom design, we've been amazed at how few issues we've had. We had a tire blowout last year that shredded the plastic moisture barrier on the underside a little bit. This is a far cry from seeing other trailers having the floor ripped out and all of the appliances above destroyed. The structure is really where our rig shines, it's strong! So - we looked a long time and didn't find anyone else that would build us what we wanted, and Dunesport did it!

Just returned from a 2 month trip in our 18 foot Mancave toy hauler. Before we departed we had an issue with a dead lithium battery. I contacted the warranty company Renogy, who proceeded to give us the runaround. I contacted my salesman Rodney at Dunesport and told him my problem. He made a few phone calls and I now have a new lithium battery.
I have called Rodney a few times asking questions and he has always steered me in the right direction. I will definitely buy my next RV with Rodney at Dunesport.
Also, when I took it into service to get the battery replaced the mechanic that serviced my toy hauler said it was one of the most well built trailer he has seen and he works on them everyday. Good testimony in today's world of mass produced RV's.

It took a process to get exactly what we were looking for simple, but functional for our family. Rodney was the greatest. He worked us through everything some ups and downs. I know life is not perfect, but I will say this trailer is perfect for us. Some people might think that building your trailer is not worth the time and effort. I would have to say we are very happy that we found Dune Sports which is local to us and we could choose everything that fit our families needs and wants.
