This is the 3rd time I have gone to Foothills Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in Gold Canyon over the last 4 years and would HIGHLY recommend.

The staff is professional, kind, encouraging & knowledgeable. They go out of their way to help you achieve your recovery goals.

Special kudos to Wayne, Zack, Cesar, Piper, Kenny, Terri & Amy for helping me through my recent total knee replacement recovery. Keep up the awesome work you are all doing! Very much appreciated!

I just finished 2 months of rehab at Foothills Physical Therapy for a compromised shoulder. I could not have asked for a better experience, I have had PT at other facilities in the past and have dreaded every moment of it. The staff at Foothills is an amazing group of individuals, VERY professional, VERY knowledgeable. They insisted on pushing the limits but never going too far, with each visit I got better and better, not once did I dread my appointments. The staff is a very cohesive unit and in addition, this is a very personable staff, they REALLY listen , there is conversation and there is even laughter at appropriate times. Thanks to: Wayne,
Dominique, Zach, Piper, Kenny and Terry (Terry does a marvelous job at making appointments and keeping patients on track). I would recommend this facility (and have) to anyone needing rehab.

I attended Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy in Gold Canyon. I can’t say enough good things about this group of men and women. Wayne, Zach, Cesar, Piper, Kenny, and Terri. All wonderful people and great in their prospective jobs. The exercises they showed me how to do and held me accountable on, were exactly what I need to build back strength in my muscles to support my tendons damage in an ankle injury. Using hands-on, they massaged and rubbed out knots and tightness in my calf, ankle, and foot, that was preventing me from being able to flex my ankle… I couldn’t even do a squat…. Anyway, they are wonderful! Today was my last day and I’m pain free and very happy with my progress. If you are willing to do your part by following the instruction they give during your hour long session, and then do your homework at home, this group will help you recover and accomplish your goals! Go see Wayne and his team in Gold Canyon. It’s well worth the drive! Love love love them!

In 2023 I had a problem with my knee and Wayne fixed that. Because of my experience in 2023, I returned this March when I had a series of appointments with Wayne & staff for a problem I had with my back. They did a great job and by the time I had to leave to return to Canada I left feeling much better, with exercises I can do at home, and I am sure that I will improve steadily. Wayne and his staff are helpful, kind, caring, and simply pleasant to be around . I have recommended them to friends in this area as a place to come to if they ever need physio.

I can’t say enough positives about the staff at AZ Foothills Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy in Gold Canyon AZ. It starts with Teri, the receptionist who is so much more. She sets the tone and can answer all of your questions.
I was so fortunate to work with Wayne Foley who is the Clinic Director. He is experienced, motivating, and extremely knowledgeable. I also was helped by therapist, Piper and technician Kenny. The overall theme throughout this clinic is caring, and it shows!
