I recently visited Simon med on Grant Street for routine CAT scan. The receptionist was friendly and awaiting area was clean and comfortable. However, I felt the technician who was professional lacked a little bit of demeanor and seemed a bit distant. A warmer approach would’ve been made the experience more comfortable.

I totally had a freak fit at the front desk because my insurance wouldn’t approve last minute and I was in massive pain. Not only were they amazing at handling the situation, they actually figured out a solution and squeezed me in for a scan even though I wasn’t scheduled anymore for that day. Total sweethearts, highly recommend.

Check in was quick and easy. I was taken back immediately, met by the MRI technician . Taken to changing room asked a few questions. Shown to a room and locker. The process was easy and she was so kind to me! I was very pleased with the process. Many thanks!

I was early for my appointment. However, the GPS directed me to a back door entry that had no access. I called the phone number on my information sheet given to me with all of the instructions, and the number was not correct for that location. I left a voicemail & asked for someone to call me, since I was standing outside waiting for access to have my scan done. Nobody responded. I called the number again, explaining I was waiting outside the address (shown in large letters on the outside wall). A person answered the call this time, and asked for the address where I was waiting. I was told that phone number did not correspond with where my appointment was scheduled; and, the person place me on hold to find the correct phone number. I was then forwarded to the correct office number and was able to talk with an office person. I was then told my appointment had been canceled since I had not reported on time. I explained that I had been waiting outside for over 30 minutes seeking someone to let me in! I was told I would need to make a new appointment. I asked to speak with a supervisor. While I was waiting to talk to a supervisor, an employee came from around the building & asked if I was Elvin. Then, he said to follow him to the other side of the building where the front door was located. He said they used to have a sign on the back door where the address number is located, but the wind blew it away. I was told by him that he tried to call me four times before canceling the appointment. I showed him my cell phone where no incoming calls or voicemails had been received on my phone, even though other calls had been received throughout the same time period. I was allowed to have the scheduled scan. However, this was the most egregious experience I have experienced in a long time! I was treated very poorly, though the communication errors were totally due to misinformation on the part of SimonMed.

I had an MRI provided by SimonMed at the Plaza Palomino office. The facility is very nice and very clean.

Check in was quick and easy with no wait. The desk staff was very nice and efficient.

Dina was the MRI Tech that helped me. She was very helpful and kept me fully informed during the procedure. I felt that i was in good, competent, and caring hands with Dina.

For any imaging services i need I will always use SimonMed.

I had an ultrasound appointment at SimonMed. I checked in and waited less than 5 minutes before being called back. The ultrasound tech was friendly and knowledgeable. I was finished in 15 minutes. From start to finish my appointment was 25 minutes and done. That’s efficiency!
