Just junk parts. Nothing is sized right. Pretty sure they don't have a calibrated caliper or micrometer in the place. I just wasted my money by having to buy a second builders kit from a better company. I know you want to buy their parts because they are colorful, but don't.

Bought an ar-15 builders kit from ammo az and bolt catch roll pin was way too big causing it to bend and damage my lower receiver, never had this issue with any other kit and just ruined my whole build

Several years back I used Guntec parts on a LR-308 build and was perfectly happy. Six months ago I picked up a billet upper and 15" handguard for a build that I just got around to starting a month ago. My first snag was the aluminum barrel nut supplied with the handguard. In calling customer service I learned that they knew it was a bad idea, duh! At first they wanted me to purchase the steel barrel nut but, after a follow-up email they did the right thing and sent me the steel one. The second snag came when my Warne mount wouldn't clamp to the billet upper. After getting out the calipers and micrometer I verified that the Picatinny rail was .006 under the minimum spec for mil standard. They proceeded to argue with me that their supplier is a DoD supplier and that it was not possible that my [billet] upper was manufactured wrong. They have quit speaking to me and so I'm stuck with this defective upper.
It's the first time I've had defective anything on a build and then I had two with the same company. And the best part is that one of their parts ended up in the trash and I'm out the cost of the part and the cost of the Cerakote plus my time. Never again.

Javier is a pretty rude dude on the phones. I called regarding a possible custom built upper reciever/Upper bolt carrier for a lefty like myself. His response was a “ha” no way man and hangs up? Good customer service skills Guntec, it sucks ive been a resident of the valley for 10+ years and really want to represent there product on my AR I’m sorry being left handed inconviences your company, that’s fine I’ll spend my money on other company’s that have respect for there customers. Stag,Stnger,Black Rain, Rosco props to you guys for having respect and compatibility with your customers.
