As a first-time hunter, I was nervous about the process, but they made everything so easy and welcoming. They were patient and walked me through each step, answering all my questions. Plus, the pricing was very reasonable. Keep in mind if its your first time going, and that if you are not going to gut the deer yourself, bring $50 cash the time of the drop off. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, kind, and skilled place for your deer processing, I highly recommend them.

Recently moved to KY from SC, and this location came highly recommended. I stopped by to check them out prior to going in the woods. They happily walked me through the entire facility so I could see how the process would be from start to finish.

A little pricier than I am used to from SC, but seems to be on par with area processors.

The only thing I have tried so far is the pepperj ack summer sausage, and I was happy with the product!

I would love to give a more accurate review of this deer processing facility but I can't. I got a deer this week and called before I brought it to make sure they were still accepting deer for the day. No one picked up even though I tried several different times. I decided to bring it down since their listed hours said "open until 8pm." I got there a little after 7pm and I gave all of my information to one of the workers at the paperwork station. He told me to back my deer up to the main building to have some other workers remove and start processing the deer. I did that and got out to see what I needed to do next and an older gentleman came up to me and asked angrily how I got in. I told him I drove back the driveway and was told to bring my deer to the building. He said I needed to leave because they were closed - even though there were plenty of people there still working and standing around. He was also upset that I didn't field dress the deer. I told him I called earlier that week and the lady I spoke with said they would clean the deer for $40, which I was willing to pay. He said again that I needed to leave and wasn't willing to help me or work with me even though they were still open and I had a deer in the back of my truck. I am a new hunter and was extremely disappointed by the very poor customer service here. I ended up calling B&B Extreme Processing in Falmouth right after that horrible experience and they were willing to take my deer that night and wait for me to get there after I left S&J. I appreciated B&B's kindness and great customer care!

Simply the best around. One of the only processors I have used that guarantees you are getting only your deers meat. Enjoy some bean soup and a fire when dropping off early gun season!
