Considering there was little snow this year in Big Bear this place was great! I like the fact they have the automatic ramp that takes you up the hill. It’s worth for a few hours of play time in the snow. My son had a blast, we spent a few hours there. That have a snack shack that which was cool. Clean restrooms, plenty of parking. Friendly staff.

45 bucks a person. Go early! The lines get absolutely crazy! Don't bother going to the food place. The girl was rude and it took 20 minutes to get one hamburger that was 15 bucks!!!Maybe she was having a bad day. Anyway eat somewhere else. The dudes that work here are SUPER AWESOME and helpful. You don't need a ticket to watch because there is a viewing spot. The arcade machines took a bunch of quarters and DO NOT work. And the bathrooms are horrible! I had fun and would come back on a weekday.

Terrible Experience – Rude Management

We had an absolutely awful experience at this place. We waited an hour and a half with a 3 yo in line just to get to the waiver station. After filling out the waiver, we proceeded to the ticket counter, assuming everything was in order. However, no one gave us wristbands. We then had to wait another 30 minutes in line to purchase tickets.

When we finally tried to enter, we were stopped and told we needed wristbands. Confused, we went back to the waiver station, only to be told that we had to go all the way back to the very end of the first line and wait another hour and a half with a child, who was so exited to ride a tube.

The so-called manager of this place clearly enjoys using his position to humiliate parents and children by sending them to the back of the line for no reason (instead of apologizing for his staff who doesn’t do the job properly). Instead of helping, he was condescending and rude, making the entire situation even more frustrating.

This place is a complete disaster when it comes to organization, and the staff has no regard for customer service. Avoid at all costs unless you want to waste hours of your time dealing with arrogant employees who get a kick out of making families suffer.

place is really fun but employees are eh. While my group and i were signing the waver, we got a little confused. A female employee comes up and raises her voice as she explains what we have to do, we were processing what she was trying to say which i guess pissed her off. She ended up walking away while telling another employee to help our group because we weren’t listening?.. I understand it must be stressful to deal with a lot of customers but she doesn’t need to be rude. Another thing is that it is understaffed in the cafeteria. there were only 3 people working in the cafeteria the day i went and the line took forever. They forgot our fries and we asked for them to check. The employee asked to see our receipt so we were giving her the receipt which she snatches out of our hand. most employees are friendly, just a few who have a bad attitude. Overall the sledding and stuff were really fun, would recommend :).

Big Bear Snow Play offers a fantastic winter experience for families and individuals of all ages. The tubing runs are well-maintained and provide hours of fun with plenty of lanes to choose from. The magic carpet lift makes it easy to get back up the hill without the hassle of carrying your tube, which is especially convenient for kids.

The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. The facility is organized, with options to warm up in cozy seating areas, enjoy snacks, and take breaks as needed. Whether you're a seasoned snow lover or new to tubing, Big Bear Snow Play is a must-visit destination for a memorable day in the snow!

I took my daughter, Elly, to Big Bear Snow Play, and we had an absolute blast! From the moment we arrived, everything was well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The tubing hills were perfect—long, fast, and well-groomed, making for an exciting ride every time. The magic carpet lift was a game-changer, saving us from tiring hikes uphill and allowing for more runs and more fun!

Elly loved every second of it, and it was such a joy to see her racing down the hills with a huge smile. The place was well-maintained, and even though it was busy, the lines moved quickly, and we never felt rushed.

Whether you’re looking for a fun family outing or a great way to introduce kids to snow activities, Big Bear Snow Play is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back!

We were actually at the outside play area where you don't have to pay to play. Great open spaces to frolic in the snow. Parking is free on the side of the road, just be careful and mindful of crazy drivers trying to score a parking spot.

This place is pretty lame. We went on Sunday after a big snow on a holiday weekend, so crowds were to be expected. After waiting in line for an hour to pay $45 per person, got inside to discover they only have 6 runs, and when you go to the top there are… more long lines! Guys with megaphones will shout instructions at you more often and more vigorously than needed, blast a siren unnecessarily, and they are so phobic about injuries that when your kids (10 +13) go right before you they will stop you from going and bumping into them, which is half the point of Inter tube sledding. Clearly we are never coming here again.
