Rudi was totally amazing. Very kind informative and personal. It was almost closing time and she took her time to show my son and I around he got a really cool gemstone. She helped him to set it up to cut, it was really cool. I would definitely recommend her again. Thank you 10 stars, can't wait till we go back!!

This was so much fun we broke open some geodes and had a nice chat with Rudi. The inside is cute and cozy. We'll definitely be back when it's warmer to pan for gold.

I took my son there on a weekday afternoon and bought him the T-Rex Package @ $69.99 to dig up and the Megalodon Package @ $69.99 to pan for. It was over pretty quick as he is older and I felt both activities would be better suited for a younger age (4-8 y/o) group who might need more time (and help) to find the treasures. We explored the outside “ghost town and cemetery” afterwards which was cute and entertaining. We spent about an hour in total there.

Loved the geode cracking experience so much that I went 2 days in a row and now have 5 geodes! Thank you for sharing your passion, being very informative, patient, and helpful.

Kids had fun .. this place is pretty pricey though… my boys bought the geode to cut in half - the geodes came to about $50 each- then the knife machine they use to cut them - they crumbled .. wish they at least had something better to cut them

We went here to buy a few crystal souvenirs, but it turned out to be a wonderful activity & experience spending almost an hour and a half. Thanks to Rudy for her guidance & patience, who is really passionate about crystals & minerals and helped me with my choices, answering all my questions (Also got a great suggestion for a local hiking spot for sunset making it one of the most memorable day.)
Also thanks to Nicky for patiently waiting while I made my selections, eventhough it was past their closing hours.

+Picking up the geode & Cracking it open was another highlight of the visit.

Our visit turned out to be an unexpectedly enjoyable experience, especially for the kids. For approximately $100, we had the chance to discover and collect around 50 dazzling gems, which delighted the young ones. The interactive nature of the activity made it a hit among the kids, making it a worthwhile and entertaining excursion for a family day out in Big Bear. The lady was so very nice, even though she was there by herself. We did have a long wait but the wait was so worth it - as one of my kids said to me! Very fun times!

My kids loved it and got some very cool shells, rocks and shark teeth! They offer different themed dig bags such as Frozen, Star Wars and dinosaurs. They are very careful with social distancing and only allow 1 family in at a time, but you have to wait a while for your turn. Some of the cheaper options are sold out, but you can split the larger bags for 2 kids. The staff person was very friendly and explained to my kids what type of teeth and rocks they 'discovered'.
