It was crowded but it was fun to see everyone enjoying. We did the tubing and it was nice but not too high.
The point is ,$60 is too much to ask per person hope they make it lower with the inflation going. All in all it was nice , restrooms are plenty and food is everywhere too. Staff who gave tickets and at the tubing were really helpful.

The slopes were poorly maintained—either too icy or too slushy.
The green slope at Snow Summit was steeper than a typical green run, causing many skiers to either fall frequently or take excessive breaks. As a result, many people were sitting in the middle of the slope, creating a safety hazard for others.
Additionally, the lockers were far from the rental area, requiring us to carry all our gear over a long distance.

We purchased a two-day lift pass, but on the second day, we discovered at the lift that one of our pass was not working. This forced us to go back, wait in line, and get a new card, which was frustrating and took up valuable time.

For families with young children, this resort is not ideal. There are no ski schools for kids under five unless you book a private session for $800+, which isn’t practical—especially if you’re unsure how long your child will even last in the lesson. Plus, there’s no childcare available.

Giving it 3 stars because the resort is conveniently located near LAX (about 3 hr drive), making it easily accessible.
The bunny slope was a good spot for practice; however, due to the poor quality of the green slopes, many beginners crowded this area, making it overly congested.

Skip any of the Big Bear resorts and just go to Mammoth, or a resort in Utah or Colorado. All of the Big Bear resorts are expensive, the customer service stinks, and the skiing is terrible. The online booking system is terrible and difficult to use. Parking is extremely limited and expensive. Heaven help you if you need to get a refund for a ticket or parking, because no one can help at the resorts' guest services and when you call customer service they won't give you a refund. All they might offer you is a credit. I emphasize might. Don't waste your time or money on Big Bear, Snow Summit, or Snow Valley. While it's what we have in Southern California, you're better off going to better and more friendly resorts in other states. You'll have a better time and your money will be better spent.

Great view over big bear lake and amazing staff and lifties. Can’t complain about workers they’re all super chill. Some boarders can be kinda rude but it’s a great place for beginners to learn and always have pretty good park runs. Food is super expensive and lift tickets are like 150 but other than that amazing boarding no during the winter.

Pretty bad experience on a busy day. Would definitely suggest staying away during the holiday or long weekend. We got to the resort around 7:30 expecting to park in the brownie parking lot which isn’t that bad. Me and about 50 other people were told to go left and park so we all parked in the brownie parking lot. 30 minutes later employees kicked us out of the parking lot saying it was closed. That cost most of us an extra hour of driving and waiting in shuttle lines because of their mistake. Most of us driving hours to the resort just to have time taken away from us and wasted. Very disappointed in the way the run things. Then Later on in the day they open up the brownie parking lot. Not fair of those people that showed up early and had to park in the lots far from the resort. Definitely makes me not want to come to this resort anymore being a 10 year season pass holder.

Don't go there if you can. It was probably the worst ski resort experience we've ever had.

Expensive. Overcrowded. Parking is a disaster. Staff is very rude.

1. Expensive: You will pay ~$170 on weekends and ~$130 on weekdays. What a joke for such a small ski resort!

2. Overcrowded: If you're going on weekends, you will be waiting for a lift for 20-30 minutes.

3. Terrible parking: The main parking lot is small and gets full super quickly. There is an additional parking lot 15 minutes away with a shuttle bus.

4. Staff is very rude and they want you to get out of their way.

Took my 6yr old for his 1st snowboarding lesson there and he had a blast. I taught him for 2 years and felt it was time to have a stranger give him more tips. Coach "Evan" made it fun for him and was extremely patient. By the end of 2 days of snowboard lessons Alex was "shredding" and comfortable heel side but still working on toe side. Tons of fun and improvement. Highly recommend and if you can to ask for "Evan"

I'm here to inform you of the big inconvenience that was experienced at snow summit today. I arrived approx 1:00pm at the parking lot and made our way to the line to obtain a birthday lift ticket for myself. During the wait there were only two workers attending the booth for ticket purchasing which made the delay much longer than expected. But to make things worst I purchased separate lift ticket for my son at full price of $150. This is unacceptable due to the fact that the ticket was purchased by 2pm . I really assume I would have paid for half session being that we just rode the slopes for 2 hrs. If you really car about your customers I hope there is some compensation.
