***Do Not Book*** We stayed in cabin #5. Cabin was not clean, jacuzzi tub knobs were missing and extremely dirty, spider webs everywhere, the bathroom is falling apart, shower head sprays everywhere BUT STRAIGHT. We were so scared of the cleanliness of this cabin that we did not sleep under the covers. We didn't want to catch bed bugs or something worse. Horrible experience!

Got there and room hadn't been cleaned. Had to go cabin to cabin to find someone because no host on site. Found on site maid. She cleaned room emailed host letting him know. Next night went to dinner. Got dinner to go so we (wife and myself) could enjoy in room. Returned to find door wouldn't open. Again my wife found the maid she tried to enter room with butter knives. This didn't work. Are my dinner in my car while waiting. After dinner I got a window open and put the maid's daughter through to open door. Couldn't leave room again until checkout unless we left door open. After all was good host finally emailed me back apologizing and letting me know when c/o was. We've stayed here before with no issues but probably won't again. Thank God for the on site maid and her family. She was I give a 5 stars on good service. Jacuzzi is nice as well as fireplace. (There's no fireplace tools either). Lol

This hotel sucked. They had no plug for the hot jacuzzi, only had three towels, the jacuzzi sprayed us and the beds all with water, no internet, overall I enjoyed staying here but they could really use some work and make the back part of the jacuzzi not freaking spray you.and more better internet and lighting.

I absolutely recommend Bear Manor, the peaceful grounds make a nice relaxing environment, cabins are well accommodated, bed was very comfortable, enjoyed the close proximity to the Village all within walking distance and close to the lake and boat rentals! Great service and price, special thanks to Adrian who was very helpful throughout our reservation processing and everything! We will definitely be back!! We love Bear Manor! 🐻

Absolutely horrible experience.. the cabin had a leak in the bathroom ceiling with a big puddle making it impossible to shower there was a leak over the kitchen cabinet and so the top of the cabinet had a puddle and the floor had a puddle making it impossible to use the kitchen this was completely uninhabitable, the jacuzzi which was one of the selling points of the cabin didn't work you can fill it with water but there was no Jets and if you're using the hot water the heater goes off Also had to use an electric heater as the regular heater wasn't warm enough for the winter.. It's a very convenient location

What a joke this place is. We specifically looked for a place with AC. The listing stated the cabin would have AC… it did not. The floors felt dirty and had a film turning the bottom of feet black. No bath towels or hand towels. They left a role of paper towels… so thanks for that I guess. Tried to contact someone about getting towels and inquire about AC, no one around and no one got back to us. Would’ve loved to shower or try out the jetted bath tub, but no. Basically a pig wearing lipstick. Screens don’t fit the windows. Windows don’t lock, felt unsafe leaving items in the room. Old appliances, original kitchen, bath, and furniture is so old and gross. This place was probably nice at one point, they just don’t take care of it, and it’s obvious walking around looking at other units, and the property is falling apart. The photos looked cute, but upon arrival such a rip off. Spend your money else where.

We did not have a good stay. The entire cabin was covered in soot from the fireplace and the cabin was filled with dead and living insects including cockroaches in the kitchen area. There were bugs under the bedding. The fire alarms were beeping and the coffee maker and microwave were very dirty as well as the freezer still having food and beverages from a prior visit inside of it. All of the soap dispensers were empty. The beds were very uncomfortable and the power shut off in the morning. We left early because of all this. Very disappointed in our choice of stay. Not sure if we got a really bad cabin or what but it was a very poor experience

I booked thru Airbnb and stayed in cabin #15. The pictures justify the actual cabin well! From the pictures I learned that this is a cabin that's in a newer condition. It didn't disappoint me. We loved the jacuzzi and the Rakuten built-in TV the most. It's perfect for a couple who wants to enjoy some good time while watching. I think it's also great for family as long as you don't mind the tub is in the same space as the beds. Another thing we liked is its proximity to the main street, which allowed us to come back for a quick break.||I also want to commemd the staff who was very responsive when we had questions/requests. Can't wait to come back again!
