From the moment we arrived at Shore Acres Lodge, we knew we were in for a treat. We were welcomed by Delaney who was helpful and friendly and pointed us in the direction of our rustic lodging.

The cabin itself was cute and cozy, comfortably furnished, and equipped with all the amenities we needed.

The lake, a stone's throw from our cabin, had a dock where the kids could fish and launch their kayak.

The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The water was clear and invigorating, providing us with a much-needed respite from the summer heat.

Besides catching up with friends, another highlight of our stay had to be watching the meteor shower. With minimal light pollution, the sky was a canvas of stars, each one shining brighter than the last.

The management at Big Bear Vacations deserves a special shout-out for their attention to detail and hospitality. Christina Lindsey ensured our stay was organized and comfortable and Rhiannon Voest was more than happy to share tips on making the most of our weekend.

In summary, our weekend at Shore Acres Lodge was not just a getaway; it rejuvenated our spirits and gave us family memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Whether you're a nature lover, an adventure seeker, or just in need of some peace and quiet, Shore Acres Lodge is a perfect getaway. We left with heavy hearts and the kids begging for an extra day but promised ourselves to return soon.

An amazing venue incredibly conducive to Family Reunions! We had our best reunion in 28 years! The management bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. They were absolutely incredible through the entire process. It's lake front, with a pool, play area and a centrally located picnic area that naturally pulled everyone out of the cabins bringing everyone together. The best!

I feel very fortunate that I stumbled across Shore Acres Lodge in my search for a wedding venue and lodging. It set the tone for an absolutely perfect weekenx for myself, my husband, and our guests. The lodge has a natural beauty and rustic charm. It was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a simple and laid back wedding. We were able to host over 100 guests for the cwremony/reception and provide 50 guests with lodging on site. They have been well maintained and updated where it counts while preserving the aged appeal of 100 year old cabins. The management of the lodge and Big Bear Vacations were incredibly kind and accommodating. We could not have hoped for more. I highly recommend Shore Acres Lodge and Big Bear Vacations for any event. We will absolutely be going back.

The place was very nice and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to the lake. Pet friendly which is the first thing we look for while searching for a place to stay in. The only down side - they closed the pool the day we arrived saying that the season is over. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

No pool open. They overcharge. Look on vrbo & etc get much bigger & better place cheaper. I found a 2 story cabin with more then everything 80 bucks.
