The drive to Big Bear Lake is surreal and incredibly scenic. However, the Rim of the World Highway takes it to another level. Midway through the journey, we encountered a thick mist that reduced visibility, making it impossible to see the road or any vehicles ahead or behind us. Despite this, the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. The lake itself was stunning, and the charming Big Bear Village offered a variety of restaurants and shops to explore. We had a delightful dining experience at the Himalayan Restaurant, where the soup was exceptionally tasty and the butter naan was delicious.

I fall in love with Big Bear. It's beautiful. On winter time, be careful about roads closing due to weather you might need to stay in the city for more days. Don't forget to eat and drink at Murray's at the Village, best food and best place ever.

One of the best getaways in Southern California. The lake is about 7 miles long and you can take your car and drive ariund the scenic loop and stop at so many different vistas or trails.

You can also hike all the way around the lake. You can fish and take out boats.

Big Bear is fabulous for a quick yet easy & relaxing get-away for an extended weekend. The views are breathtaking. The atmosphere is completely peaceful and I really enjoyed experiencing another corner of our Gods world
