I can’t believe this place I buy over $1 million worth of lumber and I simply asked them. Can I use your Wi-Fi? It was like asking them to take their clothes off. They were totally offended. How dare I ask for a password to use their Wi-Fi now everybody has masks on, but they’re not wearing it over there, it’s like improperly wearing a condom on just your private area but not the whole thing get it. Why do they gotta be so rude just to say I’m sorry we don’t have it. I wish they would just be nice instead of mean about every question, they’re so angry all the time .

I called to get a quote and Janet assisted me. She was wonderful, very responsive and made sure all my questions were answered. The quote was just what I needed, there were three different quotes and information on each door. ( I knew nothing about doors) I went into the store and the showroom amazing, the displays highlighted features and made it easy to decipher what is what. All the sales people were helpful and very professional.

The are always very fast and very friendly. They help you load your lumber to help you get in and out fast. They do a great job matching colors for paint also. They have a good selection on a lot of different things.

So lazy. I called to ask about getting wood cut for 3 small raised beds. They told me yes they could do it today and to come into the store. When I got there, a different guy told me he wasn’t going to make his staff do it on a Saturday. There wasn’t a single person in the store and they didn’t close for almost 2 hours. I was trying to support our local business, but am ending up at Home Depot anyway. Wish I didn’t waste gas driving there in the first place.

Purchased premium windows here for installation in a cottage remodel. The windows arrived damaged. I stopped payment on the windows to assure that repairs were performed and adequate restitution secured. Not only did Ganahl not stand behind the product and attempt to make good on the purchase, but they put a lien on my property to extort payment from me even when I had explained to them that payment would be forthcoming when the windows were acceptable. This all happened after I had already spent thousands of dollars there on the same remodel and this all happened in a matter of weeks. Really bad form and not befitting a company that understands customer service and is attempting establishing themselves with the local community. Purchase at this location at your own risk.

My wife comes in to buy two exterior doors. One of our doors has a rotted frame. She knows very little about doors. She speaks to the person in charge of door sales, Karen - who can be fairly expected to be an expert. This experience was not pleasant, according to my wife.

Fast forward 2 weeks, and the doors are ready. The doors ordered were "prefit", or slab doors. If a frame needs to be replaced, how in the world can a slab door be purchased?

I look at the invoice and everything is correct - slab doors. I head down to talk to Karen and Ganahl about how the door consultation could have gone so wrong and missed so much. Karen's response was "ask your wife. I ordered what she said". Note, my wife is only interested in styling - she had no idea about the difference between slab vs pre-hung. Another associate recommended that we use an app before coming in for the door sales consultation.

I recommend they replace Karen with that app.

There's no question that I should have double-checked earlier, but I think it's fair to expect some expert help when you go in to make a relatively large purchase. That's why these places have door consultants.
