99 Ranch Market - Aliso Viejo, California

Irvine has two 99 Ranch locations, and Tustin has one, each offering convenient meal options. With the new Aliso Viejo store, I expected something unique, but it fell short.

I visited at 11:10 AM. The store was clean, but the food selection is quite disappointing. Unlike other locations, it only sells individual entrées—no combo lunch boxes. I also didn’t see steamed rice, fried rice, or chow mein. Does that mean I have to go home and cook rice again?

Despite its size, it lacks a food court, which could have attracted more customers. The store felt empty, and without standout features, it’s unclear how it will bring in steady traffic.

Some items are cheaper than Irvine store. They have more fresh cut flower bouquets. Not crowded. Very neat and organized. More Spacious than other 99 Ranch markets. They also have bbq togo items section. I also saw a few self check out counters. Lots of parking, i came on a Tuesday.

There is only one entrance to this plaza parking lot from Aliso Creek. The plaza has a Trader Joe's, Marugame Udon and soon to be opened Omomo Tea shop.

In Aliso Viejo, the long-awaited 99 Ranch Market, finally opened this week. We are all very excited having Dahua in this neighborhood. The shopping experience is different versus other 99 Ranch or Asian markets. The furnishings and items sold in this location are unlike others. The space design is open and well organized. Finally, there are live tanks; lots of fruit, vegetables, seafood and meat selections.

I am so excited to see this location finally opened!! It’s the biggest, cleanest and nicest Ranch 99 I’ve ever seen. Today is the soft opening and there are LOTS of people. Wide lanes, tons of Asian grocery, huge parking lot compare to the two Irvine locations. Looking forward to the food court!

The new store is big, more options for groceries. Just hope 99 Ranch can pick up their meat freshness and quality.

Brand new outlet, spacious and certainly larger than others within 15 miles. Good balance of fresh produce and processed foods albeit felt slightly limited, given it's newly open let's hope the range of produce offered will increase over time. Selection of fresh cooked food is very limited but time will tell.

I was so excited this was opening near my home. I drive to Costa Mesa or Irvine at least once a week for the asian markets.
The food here is sub par and it is always a zoo with terrible customer service.
My last time I will come here I took a number for the fish counter. They are calling out numbers. Mine gets called I walk over and a man acted like his number and had called. I tell the worker that is mine- show him the correct number, he asks the guy for his- he showed a later number not called yet… but instead of taking my order, the employee shrugs and continues taking the man’s order.

I will not come back.
