I was brought on to shoot a reality show in PHX with limited spots to travel from LA. The directors decided to hire a G&E team out in PHX and this team is the absolute best team I could have imagined. We had Lee & Brian (on the truck in attached photo) for our shoot and they went above and beyond. I prefer a collaborative process vs just saying where everything needs to go, and Lee really pulled through on communication and creativity. He elevated my vision to the next level and we only had the 3 ton truck! Thank you x100 to this team!! As the pic suggests, smiles all around!!

Professional and friendly, these folks have a great place here. There's so many ways to shoot at Pirate and they have everything you could possibly need. They have a bar set right on the property - don't need the set? Use it for talent holding! From filming space to G&E to Props to HMU space - this place has it and the folks there treat you right! My favorite place to film! Check this place and these awesome folks out for your filming needs whether it's at their location or on some other location - they have equipment and experience and will travel! You will be so glad you did!

There are three things I would never do: put ketchup on my eggs; jump out of a plane without a parachute and light a set without someone from Pirate Grip & Electric there to do it !! These guys work so hard even on the hottest of Arizona days. Jarrod and his team have an uncanny 6th sense for anticipating the needs of a director, producer or even an audio engineer like me and the moment we need something, they have eerily already been to the truck and back and have the item in hand. This has happened too many times to be coincidence. They are time travelers.
