What a great experience. Phil at Got Memories explained all my options and helped our family get all of our old videos saved in one secure and modern flash drive and we are all thrilled!!! Got Memories is the gold standard for customer service and restoration of memories!! I saw Phil's videos on YouTube and read a few reviews. I had a stack of 16 mini-DVDs that had not been finalized. I had tried several local companies who could not help me salvage the videos without having the original camera. I took a chance and sent Phil an email. He responded immediately. Within a week or two I mailed my mini-DVDs all the way to Arizona from Iowa. Phil let me know when they arrived and got to work immediately. It took only about two weeks, and he called and emailed me with updates on his progress weekly. I had complete trust in his work especially because payment is not required until the work is completed. My restored videos were sent to me digital and on flash drives in the mail. The quality is exceptional, and I am so grateful to have the memories of my three boys as babies/toddlers back!! Got Memories is worth every penny.

Absolutely amazing experience with Phil at Got Memories. I had old VHS tapes in poor condition and he was very up front with me regarding the costs and likelihood of recovery. I appreciated his great communication, always keeping me updated of the status of the project. Before working with Phil, I had tried a mainstream competitor and they had me pay up front, did not properly warn me about the likelihood of recovery, and sent me back the tapes with a sticker that said they were in too poor of shape. The disappointment I had with the lack of warning and communication from the competitor made me almost give up. However, when I found Phil at Got Memories, I knew that he would do his best to recover my tapes. I felt like a human and not just a customer with a bar code. He was able to recover all but one of my tapes and I was beyond satisfied with the entire experience.

Phil Thomas, owner of Got Memories, is an absolute pro at his craft of digitizing old films and tapes. He brought back to life several reels of old 16mm films going back to the 1930's that my grandfather had taken of milestone family events. Thanks to Phil's meticulous care in cleaning, inspecting and repairing the originals, the digitized images are as clear and crisp as my grandfather's camera would allow back then. What a joy to see! And the turn-around time was incredibly fast. If you want to recover the ability to see those glorious moments in your family's history, don't bother with other digitizing companies--you'll be disappointed. Got Memories is simply the best. I was asked to get my boss's videos and audio tapes from the last 20+ years digitized, so I wanted to find the very best company to do so and I definitely did. I was nervous about the tapes getting lost or damaged, or the process taking a very long time. After checking reviews and other companies' websites I found Got Memories. Phil was able to digitize several different types of video tapes and even audio tapes. His communication was excellent, always keeping me updated every step of the way. He treated each tape with care and did a fabulous job transferring everything over. He sent everything back in the condition in began in, and the turnaround time was very fast. I have used this service twice now. Phil is very professional and took time to help me get my old 8mm and VHS shipped to him in a way they were protected and free from damage.
