Love and care can be conveyed through food. To savor one taste of Big Mama's Preserves is to know this to be true. The Meyer lemon preserves become the focus of my daily breakfast every time I get a jar. The uniformity of the bits of zest that are achieved by meticulous mincing with a knife and not high-speed, high-heat food processing and the fact that every batch tastes delicately balanced despite the variations in acidity of the fruit are signs that they care greatly about their art.
